When it comes to the ‘Irish issue’ and you I often think of the quote ‘It’s best to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt’. If you experienced the troubles you might be better placed to offer a meaningful thought. Fortunately most in the six counties have gone well beyond your mind set. Winning FA Cup as a League 1 club without a doubt. If we miss promotion this year we’ll piss League 1 next season with all the money the new owners invest
And both of our seasons have been enjoyable in League 1. It can be negative enough on this Board at the best of times so imagine what it would be like next season if we’re struggling in the Championship, – Cook can’t cut it, Grigg not championship level, Powell a big time charlies yawn yawnFA Cup all day. What was a sickener though was having to play a vital relegation game away to Arsenal just a few days later, something I think the FA has now changed.
Anyway Stu, I don’t think winning FA Cup is going happen for you this year anyway as you could (possibly!) be playing away to Wigan in Round 4 ;) . Apart from that cup game another game I’ll never forget is when we beat you 3-2 a few years back. What a crazy game!! Same again please.
