I think we should enjoy what is left of the season-its over for us but would be nice to f@@k them over! :lol:
Ill be very very surprised if a club of Portsmouths stature goes bang without some last minute 11 th hour savour coming in or a reform in one of the non leagues.
I have always had a soft spot for this club and always remember them bringing loads to Springy in the late 70s.
It is very grim for them andi agree we should be very very thankful we have a club to support now and in years to come regardless of what division we are in.Some nonentity that has been rotting in the reserves at some Spanish third division club and will continue to rot in ours! :huh:

He has scored 8 goals per season on average (Zaki managed 10 half of in 2008-9-didnt he come in jan 2009?)
He has scored important goals which has given him Kudos amongst some of our supporters but the fact remains 4 million is one hell of an offer especially for a club very close to relegation.

it was around 1995/96 & i was living in winstanley when i bumped into him eating his dinner in sainsbury’s cafe – beans on toast it was as he told me he was having something light before the game. it was 12.30pm & i went over to him asking if he was playing that day given the time he was eating & him having to get to the ground. we had a chat about the game (can’t remember who we were playing)& he came across as a really top bloke. this was always my fear when he became manager that things wouldn’t work out for him & that he be slated on here – & that, it seems, is coming true. as i’ve said on other posts i will always respect bobby for his time as a player, club legend, for what he has done for wigan on the whole – he clearly loves the club, the town & its folk & wasn’t he voted our legend player of all time on football focus a few years back. but, for the sake of our club it is not working & in my opinion he should go. if he does, he will still be a legend in my eyes, but my club is bigger than any player or manager.

Nice lad but he has been very lucky to stay up but only because he had players brought in by other managers.
Its 10 days to the transfer window closes and 2 weeks to our next possible point gaining game (Everton at home)
