We cant grumble about those prices can we?Frozen again and some good initiatives for young adults like my 20 year old son who will save about £60.
Have to give Whelan some credit for this he is certainly setting an example to the greedy clubs out there. They are a brilliant example of what can be acheived when you think beyond mere survival in the league. They are an absolute credit to the game and have restored my faith in it a little bit.
Im also so glad the scousers didnt get there as they would have commandeered the whole event and we would have had thousands of the b@stards turning up without tickets etc etc and taking the deserved media spotlight away from the club that truly deserves it.Labour’s imported luvvies will win the Wigan seats in my view and then pledge undying love for pies and King st.
The whole thing is a farce and i hope that Clegg bloke gets (some) power so we can at last change our ridiculous electoral system.Hugo for his brilliant goal (leading to the best celebration in years) against Burnley.
Jewells acheivements were far far superior.
2 promotions in three years.
10th place finish in his first EPL season
carling cup final in first season
A dramatic win to stay in the league and against all the odds
After all that was it any wonder that the supporters stuck with him the guy was a legend probably our finest ever manager.
My question is
Do you ever shout at half time or do you pat them on the head if we are losing? They all are saying Mourinho but he has to be a contender and would cost far less than Pose sorry Jose. :D
He reminds me of Ferguson that Mcleish.
Outside bet when Sir retires i think.27 April 2010 at 12:13 am in reply to: Who do you want to come up with Newcastle and the Baggies? #30891Blackpool for me also.
The manager Holloway is a fantastic bloke with great values.
They need to finish that ground-will be great when they finish it
They always take loads away
Anyone but Leicester and Forest Yaaaaaawn!
All the pundits were raving about possibly the most overated player (Scott Parker) ever to grace top flight football. They forgot to mention that our defence stood off him and invited him to have a pop like a Dad would with his seven year old son in the park.
23 April 2010 at 11:20 pm in reply to: 600 tickets sold for a game which can decide our future #30531No way would i give any money to that horrible little football club.£35 to watch a football match is a disgrace in any league-robbing b@stards!
I hate that droopy faced poaching &&&& more than any manager in the game!
He discovered Welsern Perlases (thats how he pronounces it??) and lazily sniffs round other clubs players with his (chairmans) chequebook.
No sympathy whatsoever for this football club although i feel for the supporters who get the brunt every time as usual.
I think they have had it frankly cant see anyone rescuing them either now or in the future.
Money has ruined the game!one chicken, two chicken, three chicken…………………
An incredible turnaround in just a week-time to celebrate and enoy the last three games without that horrible gut churning pressure!
Martinez has never won back to back in the PL yet has he?Could this be the one because the conditions are perfect for that as they are under the pressure and will have to attack and could easily get frustrated.
Lets hope its not like Bolton away!Yes im sure loads will go down but a word of caution.
Wigan 1 Liverpool 0 monday night
Bolton 4 Wigan 0 following saturdaySorry to be a killjoy but we havent won back to back in the league for bloody ages have we?
