My take on it is let’s say me and few mates say 20 all have 10 million quid each and then pool it to make 200 million quid.
We then make up a currency unit and then put it out there as a value and invite others to invest.
As more investors join it the value increases and when enough is received me and my mates bail out with our new ‘values’ of maybe 5 times our ten million initial investment and then watch the fund value reduce overnight.
We sail off with our money and revel at how thick and stupid our investors were !
In short it’s a very risky investment and I certainly wouldn’t try it , stick it in a pension plan is best advice.Won’t be easy to stay in the championship but given how low things were about to get this time 2 years ago it feels like a resurrection.

The club has weathered many storms but always seems to come out on top.
Another chapter starts next season and despite limited expectations I have a good feeling we will do very well.After many years of dislike towards Sunderland especially since that disgraceful wind/ crap decision induced victory over 10 years ago I was sort of glad they won the play offs.
Next season will be very hard and I’ll take 4th bottom right now however have a very good vibe about next season already !Amazing achievement in one of the strongest league one for many years.
80 points to get in the play offs and incredible to see this brilliant makeshift squad win the division.
Leam and the owners have done a great job restoring this club back to where they should be !
