”what worries me is we never look like scoring ”
Didn’t seem that way from where I was sitting.
But we didn’t actually score though Garswood. ;)
Gomez aint a finisher and Di Santo has never been, They were the only two ever in the box. Should have done better with a couple of chances granted but need strikers in the box.
I thought they were awesome man for man. For all my squaking about a right back i thought Boycie was our best player today. He got into some good positions. That Ivanovic is a bit of a belter, They want him at centre back but i have always thought he was much more effective at right back. He is in my fantasy team too
 I text my mate after Ramis had got done to ask what the bloody hell was going on. I don’t think he grew into the game and i don’;t think he looked comfortable at any time. Might be better to shift him out the right side of the defence and let him concentrate on his stronger side.
few things i would of done differently today in hindsight.
2 up top is a big must without the width of Beausajour. I REALLY did think Moses looked un-interested and was trying a bit too hard in the first half.
I honestly don’t see what Watson brings to the team and would have him nowhere near the 1st team, I would have had Crusat on instead
And i hate Gomez’s diving
As massive over-reactions go Yosser, that’s right up there with the best of ’em.Jeez, here we go again, eh?
Of all people Griff i didn’t think you would be the first to bite :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P
I was scraping the barrel with the Miyachi one.Ramis does look slow though, Could be a concern
Forgive me for asking, but I am just curious. How did you manage to post your Ramis rant at 3pm? Was you at the game? No seriously, I’m just wondering if you went.
Why ask such a silly question. Quite clearly not. Look i said the performance was great and we needed more than relying on boyce, Gomez etc running into the box to support the front man. Need 2 strikers or we WILL NOT score goals. He has done it for 3 seasons. Moses was crap and un-interested, McCarthy and McArthur were poor and That Ramis is shocking. Oscar jogged past him in the second half for a 1 on 1. He wont be good enough, He will cost us a ton of goals with that kind of defending and lack of pace. The two mc’s can improve and Moses will probably go anyroad but Ramis cant learn pace. Against speedy forwards he is going to be prone to sending off’s and giving penny’s away. Kone looks a handful and am looking forward to seeing more of him and where was Miyachi to cover Beasoujour
Aye at the start of our history though Garswood, It wasn’t uncommon practice then for teams to change their strips dramatically. Football has evolved so much since the 50s. It was all a bit ‘anything goes’ kind of mentality before that.
As much as i don’t like them, There is no need for all the crap they are having to deal with. When will these foreign owners learn that you can’t just come over here and mess with 100+ years of tradition, Allegiance and devotion. The hardcore football fans who pay to watch their Bluebirds will drive the owners out. The only slightly different Latics top i have is the blue, green and white on from about 96, All my others onwards are blue. If we decided to go red or any other colour i don’t think i would buy a replica. It is weird, like going against the grain. My culture is blue and that is the colour i will associate Wigan Athletic with forever. The Cardiff owners will be driven out. Fancy taking over the club and in one swift movement manage to alienate every fan involved with them.
Why is there about 3 people trying to wind griff up. At least he has creative input on this forum, If him, standish, garswood and jayt didn’t post on here it would be a derelict site. If you disagree with him just say it, Nobody can agree on everything, Just be adult about it and air your views.
Yosser, I’m only breaking his balls a bit, and he knows it, he’ll get me back, thats only fair, think it’s boredom, but harmless fun.
I actually rate Griff as one if the better posters on here, which isn’t hard to be fair, given the likes of Wiganmon and papas posts, I don’t rate myself very highly either btw, I know I just try to wind people up, but it’s better than copy an pasting football news that I can find on any football news site.
Every post descends into a free for all wind wind up thread, I find myself looking on other boards instead, Gets tediously boring.
So are we jockeying for positions early on?Who is going lightside and who is going darkside this year?
Im on my side like always

And that my friends concludes the mystery player. goodpost goodpost goodpost goodpost goodpost
But who was that keeper?
Come on George, Need your wisdom.
Remember talking to him in the warm up with my mate, Seemed like a nice enough chap.

That is a good point fill, I think they are banking on that one though.
On Bukran, He wont be on the list as a trialist. The Indian keeper we have could be included if that is the case and many more before him.
I think i know who it is. In the mid 90’s didn’t we have a keeper for a bit from New Zealand. Think his name could have been Newell
Same sentiments as Griff but i think he has set himself on a high pedestal with the signings. It could be an anti-climax or a wonderful season. Moses can go now for me. I wouldn’t even put him in the side now with the signings. Nice 9m and 2m profit on summer transfers is good business. But would still like a right back.
Standish repeated cho leaving 1 left and Griff has just tipped it to 40 with Todorov.
Magno never played Tyldsley (don’t think) Cwyka, Beasejour and Miyachi were repeats.
Peywet, Again repeats, And Bukran is a cheeky attempt haha. I went to that pre-season game against Everton when he put us 1-0 up but lost 6-1
That is actually quite interesting.
