I have been looking at it a different way, We only dropped points against Man Utd (surprise, surprise) Which was expected so that game doesnt even count for me. That leaves Arsenal we gave 3 points to. Cracking christmas period, And agreed, Thre is a lot of bottle being shown lately. Take out Caldwell’s red card and even he is sticking in some hard performances, The new formation certainly suits him. Still not good enough like, By a long way but much much better. Gomez has for me been the outfield player of the month. His passing has improved, Still wins free kicks and frustrates the opposition and his link up with Diame has been very interesting. McCarthy has been poor all season and i think a spell in the reserves will do him a bit of good. Think we have a big chance against a re-vitalised Sunderland. They are on a good run but so are we and should prove to be a belter. Think we should have the edge considering they played on Sunday in a hard fought game and its a night match and also the distance they have to travel. Man City up after them, They are on a bad run so we could be in to cause an upset again. In fact in our next 6 games or so i would only possibly rule out Tottenham away. Hope Martinez can keep this belief going.
Reading the Man Utd forums last night and they don’t rate him at all. Saying he would never be mature enough to be a Man Utd player. They also wanted him to come here rather than QPR but that is obvious why. He would probably prefer a move to London.
Come on Bobby cash in on Rodders, Keep Diame until his contract is up if he wont sign one and get in for Billy Sharp 1.85m is a gamble worth risking. Get Jason Roberts in while you are at it if he still has his pace and all of a sudden we look dangerous up front.
A very competent wing back in his time and one of those nice guys in football who gave his all.

Rory frigging McIlroy and Lorraine Kelly. Come off it. It is about time the honours list was scrapped. I am all for people getting them for charity work but what about the man/woman on the street who earn millions all their life devoted to charity work. Not just making an appearance in an army camp abroad and getting your celebrity face in the paper for doing so.
Looks like Diame is off to Betis. Who cares if Rodders goes, I said he was crap in his first full season and he has shown me nothing to suggest he is any kind of striker. People bum him for some reason though, He couldn’t hit a barn door, He is a match of the day player. They say he is good so he must be. People are entitled to support who they like no matter where they are from. If they don’t support The Latics then that is their problem. They don’t half miss out on a roller coaster of emotion though.

Im guessing it was Chadwicks standish. I was in La Mamas last week, Blown away by it to be honest. You don’t expect the kind of service and quality of food you get looking in from outside.
Oh any by the way, The Bull has just put their price up on every pint of lager to £2.85 so go down the road to potters or the horseshoe. Wouldn’t bother going over the road, It is fast turning into a drug bar.
