Thing that sticks in my mind about the game was being surrounded by kids who my Mrs was teaching at the time.

She was on supply at Fred Longworth High and they’d been given a load of free tickets.

The comments on the Monday were in the main about Miss and that bloke jumping up and down in the South Stand !!!!!

What happened to Mclean for him to be on crutches?

Fell over an egg !!! ;)

Callum and Shaun to start then.I’m happy with that.

Their pace and dribbling will hopefully cause Aresenal major problems at the back !!!!!

I would use you as a live bait instead of a dead spratt

Treble.

Dead sprat as live bait how does that work then??

Anyway happy to help. When and where?

Hope you like Dogfish !! :P

Here’s another bird. Notice anything different from your regular swans?

This bird has been resident on the Ribble at Ribchester for a few years now. Always cadging bait.

Name please.

Black beak and legs. Trumpeter Swan – North American bird normally so what’s it doing over here??

Really, just remind me how many we have lost making these constant changes.

Plastic maggot.

That’s not the point John.

We had a great chance to go to go above QPR and even 3rd if Derby had a poor night and we blew it.

Leicester aside there have been some poor performances recently.

Take your head out of the keep net and check out the real world !! ;)

I’d play Maloney and Crainey instead of Powell and Beaujelais !!!!

I totally disagree, there was enough quality in that team to beat Millwall.

Unfortunately it wasn’t a team !!!! :(

What would I do???????????

Panic I think !! ;)

The only good thing that came out of that pile of shite was that Maloney got 90 minutes.

Looked like a bunch of strangers out there.

Not sure why young Josh got hauled off and Collison stayed on cos he’s totally anonymous.

Maynard is worse than Fortune and don’t even get me started on McLean …………..!

We missed Jordi Gomez ???????  :woohoo: :woohoo: :S

Hopefully the time will be right for Maloney to get a run out tonight. He HAS to be on the bench on Saturday for me. Will add that spark in extra time if needed and is also a confident penalty taker.

Millwall 4 4 2

Al Habsi
Boyce Kiernan Rogne Crainey
Waghorn McEachran Collison McClean (bring Maloney on at HT)
Fortune Maynard

Saturday 3 4 3

Al Habsi
Boyce Barnett Ramis
Perch McArthur Gomez Beausejour
McManaman Powell McClean

Do you think he’ll only play 2 in the centre of midfield on Saturday?

I know they were awful on Sunday but we don’t want to get over run in the centre of midfield?

This was the side v City.

01 Carson
24 Perch
03 Crainey
07 McCann (Barnett – 45′ Booked )
21 Ramis
17 Boyce
15 McManaman (McClean – 58′ )
16 McArthur
32 Fortuné
04 McEachran (Espinoza – 66′ Booked )
14 Jordi Gómez

I’d expect something similar but with Ali in goal.

Let’ us see if he can sustain his lucky start from the team he inherited from moyes over a prolonged period, I await the FAT LAD & his witty retort :)

We’ve been short of ridiculous comments recently.

Keep ’em coming! On to 800!
I agree with The Torch, Roberto is just a one season wonder. Just a pity he couldn’t manage at least one good season out of four for Wigan.
Give that man a sour grape !!!!! :cheer:

I remember going to the bar in Olu Deniz in Turkey in 2003 and 2004 in my Latics shirt and being met with blank looks when I said which team it was for when asked by the bar staff. This was despite one of the entertainment team walking round in a Latics shirt he’d scrounged the year before.

However in 2006 they all knew who Latics were. Same in Skiathos, Rhodes and Zante later on. We were/are world famous in Greece.

In fact the whole bar in Skiathos jumped up and
cheered when Hugo scored the winner at Spurs and we were the only Latics fans in there. Our enthusiasm rubbed off on everyone. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I wonder which way we are heading, FA cup final and promotion or knocked out on sat and no promotion . Its been a great season and brilliant defence of our trophy . :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I just hope we avoid QPR in the play offs as our record against them ain’t that great especially at Loftus Rd.
