Does anyone else find that this site can be slow to load pages and post comments ? I seem to have this problem quite often and it isn’t my computer because it is fine on any other site ? :S

Which browser are you using mate?

I found using Internet Explorer that it was slow.

I’m now using Mozilla Firefox and things have speeded up considerably.

Jealous of all of you. :(

Just been pricing up all the various alternatives but having been to Wembley twice, Cyprus and Kefalonia this year we can’t justify another outlay.

Yeovil it is for us then !!!!! ;)

I hope you all have a great time. :)

And I mean yesterday, not last season.

For all the time he was in charge I kept by the line of “He is one of ours, we want him to do well”. When he left I – although saddened and disappointed – kept by the same mantra.

Last night though – I won’t be forgiving.

Whatever part he had in it, the poor offerings and very late eventual transfer left us with no time to invest in what we need – as someone said in other posts, a forward. Maybe that will come via the loan market but for now the late deal effectively shafted any option we had of immediate reinvestment – whilst QPR did get in some players who will make a difference going forward.

So for his part in that I really have lost the support I had for him. He was part of actions last night hat hurt us in terms of success this season. The decree nisi – the divorce is now complete. do I wish Everton bad? Sadly yes, they’re collateral damage, as I hope he goes down again and they have to go to make that happen.

Of course it’s just wishful thinking. Same as thinking he had some loyalty for us as we have still shown him.

Actually I think we got shafted by Whelan.

The bid was accepted at what 10.45. 13 million in Daves pocket with absolutely no time to spend it.

Even 30 mins earlier we could have upped the bid for Rhodes !!!!

I watched the second half online as I was bored with the Rugby.

Everton did pass the ball about and retain possession but at a much quicker tempo than we ever did under RM.

They were unlucky. Fellaini hit the post when he should have scored and a Coleman cross hit the bar.

Fellaini was playing too deep though and didn’t seem to be very influential as a result but my mate who is a season ticket holder at Goodison reckons he wasn’t really trying and wants away ala McCarthy !!!!!

    Watch this space !!!!!!

Forest drew at Watford to go top of the Championship.

They should offer a good test on Saturday!

    Yep.

Surprised it’s not on Sky really but they’re showing QPR again !!!!!

Wasn’t McCann Coyles Captain at Burnley?

He’s probably his ears and eyes in the dressing room.

That’s were he should stay cos he’s invisible on the pitch.

    Another Damian Francis !!!

I’d have Beausejour in instead of McLean but apart from that I’d pick the same team. :)

    Shows how much I know.

    His crossing was awful today.

Another woeful performance really – the fact Carson was man of the match imo says it all really.

I hope we are signing Jordan Rhodes because other than the set pieces we didn’t really look like scoring.

Another inept ref display as well. It looked like we should have had 2 more pens at least.

I’m off on me hols on Tuesday but I’m not really sorry I’m missing Saturdays match to be honest.

Maloney Mc 16 Mc 4 Beausejour

    or how about

Mc 16 Gomez Mc 4 Beausejour

    Maloney

    Holt/Fortune.

Well I for one hope we get a repeat of this.

As a Wiganer I hope they win and in style.

I love the fact 2 blokes from St Helens have to praise Wigan through gritted teeth !!!!

    Enjoy !! ;)

Hopefully the whole charade will implode one day and give us fans of football a welcome return of value for money and more importantly our game back ! The way Arsenal celebrated finishing 4th was the final straw for me and it eased the blow of relegation for me massively ! News today was of a possible £80m transfer deal for Gareth Bale ! WTF is all that about !! £80m, the World has gone fuckin mad !

Totally agree. The money generated by the Premier League and Champions League has ruined everything.

The importing of all these foreign players and managers means that in 5 years time there’s a chance that the England Team will be made up of players from the Championship or below. The English kids are not coming through in sufficient numbers in the PL teams

Once Gerrard and Lampard go who is the England midfield going to be. Wilshere is always injured. Cleverley ???? If he wasn’t at Man U, he wouldn’t be anywhere near the England Squad !! Average at best – he was for us as well.

I really fear for the game in this country.

I’ve been on The Kop in a capacity crowd. That was both exilerating and very scary at the same time but I wouldn’t have missed the experience for anything.

To be honest though I’ve always preferred to sit even at Springfield Park.Although I only sat in the stand there about a dozen times.

At my age now I wouldn’t entertain it at all really.

Plus how much would it cost to install???

If it’s expensive then no chance. ;)
