A quick glance at the teams above us and their respective budgets and its insane to suggest the clubs not done well. Sunderland haven’t breezed league one have they like we did?
First manager in years to survive in Championship with no parachute payments.
Leeds loss would still have seen us 5 points clear! Seem to remember last time we were in this league the team at the bottom had less points than anyone this season. Still. Let’s not give any praise to the team or Manager.
That Bolton win will long live in the memory!
Give it a rest Bigroy you tart!!!…For ffs ,75 % of the season we’ve been wank so don’t post your gobby shite here like some soothsayer who always knew we’d survive. We ARE aloud to post our alternative views in real time, unlike you morons who wait till we win then spew your bile…..and we know who your reach around buddies are don’t we ???Gobby shite? The irony! Some of us had faith and supported the club whilst some threw toys out, slagged the Manager and players, insisted we were down and generally acted like a twat when we lost and disappeared every time we won.
Home form excellent. One thing that has to change is giving away leads. We have thrown away 26 points from winning positions.
Brownbill you must feel a right ….. Stayed up comfortably having never been in bottom 3 all season. Couple of great performances against top two with Leon Clarke quality last few games. You might have noticed Grigg is on bench for Sunderland as their promotion dream lies in tatters whilst we’ve banked a few million. Hats off to Cook and the fans who have stood by him. You’ve been a disgrace on here the last month.
Haha. Brownbill you’ve had a nightmare!
Yes. Don’t know where we would be now with Grigg and Vaughans goals. I mean Grigg banged one in, in open play and Vaughan managed a massive two. Vaughan currently can’t get on the bench for Portsmouth in League one:
But hey let’s not let the truth get in the way and suggest we were class before the transfer window. How could Cook not see these two were absolute dynamite!
Yeah. Grigg was setting the world on fire in the championship before he left and performed brilliantly this season. Now seems like he’s doing well at Sunderland.

Vaughan also been on top form at Portsmouth.
You’re right Brownbill Apart from running his balls off, unsettling defence constantly, nearly scoring a cracker and being denied a goal at the death against top of league he was shite. Bring back Grigg!
Another decent performance after Saturdays hampered by the hamstring injury to Powell which left no link between midfield and forwards. These constant mistakes late in games are not down to the Manager and I still believe we have enough to stay up. Norwich at home isn’t a certain defeat and I think we will get the points to stay up against PNE and Millwall.
8-1 to go down. Get your mortgage on it.
Bet you enjoyed that last minute winner didn’t you Brownbill! Always quick on the boards when we face an agonising defeat. Don’t seem to happen the same when we draw or win. Let’s hope we don’t let you down by end of season and stay up. You’ll be devastated!
