If Jones gets Luton up via playoffs we would be playing them next season. Why the he’ll would he leave on the up for a team coming down Parbold hill in a Ferrari.

If he takes them up we’ll be playing them nextnext season and if he doesn’t ? the season after in Div2.
I’m not been funny but what was once an attractive managerial position is no longer.
I don’t give a flying hoot about our next manager, some of the players are to blame, their just not good enough and the a new manager will need a serious player pruning before he can get us back in the Championship

He’s too to nice, in defeat he comes on all smiles Harry Larry character, nevermind there’s always someone worse off than yourself attitude. I can imagine him straightening all the towels after the game with Fabreeze in hand.
And I heard Fergie is pushing for Phelans appointment. I hope not after him pushing for Moyes at Utd

I personally think it all went bad from the time Coyle came to Wigan in June 2013. In his short time we had a mad influx of players in and out and Europa League football to contend with which threw the apple cart clean over.

Then from his departure at the beginning of December every manager after that had a huge cleanup job as the money would slowly disappear.
As each parachute payment stopped the manager was then under strict orders to thin the squad and lower the wage bill so we would regular have a 10-12 player turn over leaving the next manager in charge a mountain to climb.

I liked Rosler (bar the shouting) the City away Cup win will go down in my books as one of the greatest wins in the clubs career that’s taking into account of the circumstances. He’s doing a fine job at Fleetwood but the demands put on him and other managers by the board is all too much. I think he came to the club at the wrong time in the clubs history, probably next season would have been ideal for him.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, if some of the money from the Prem or the money we made from cheaply bought players sold on had of been put back into a academy a couple of years into our Prem life we might, just might have been able to get through this period without the need to have loads and loads of loan players who are here just to keep busy and have no ties to the club.

The hardest part is finding a manager to fit this club, someone new, hungry to succeed as a manger, and more importantly knows the club with experience unlike Joyce.

For me to fit in those shoes it’s Graeme Jones, he’s 47 now and fully experienced at every level. I wonder how he feels now Henry is with Belguim. He knows the club and I’m sure at some point he will be getting itchy feet to do it on his own

I would like to know why we let Le Fondre go in Jan. Me , I would have kept him knowing we stood a good chance of going down and offered him a 12 month deal for Div1 and cashed in on Grigg.

What really gripes me is the way we loan players out then they play really well so we still leave them out to rot.

There can be only one reason , Cash, we are skint and going further and further in trouble. Its like quick sand and been pulled out with a rope made of kleenex.

Pre bought season tickets for next year ?, Simple, £200 west stand and all cup home games free otherwise I’m not bothering. You owe us for the last 2 out the last ś3 seasons which have been the worse run in this club’s history.

And as for the West stand been the premier stand ? Please explain as it looks just as shite from my seat

Yep, this ones gone, going to Ipswich without a forward is a big ask and it certainly not gonna help the cause.
Ive a feeling Bristol City will see tonight as their Cup Final and turn Preston over and the best we’ll get is a 2-0 drubbing.
I can hear the lady coughing and clearing her throat for tonight’s final concert, about 9:50″ish oh and shes fat, a whopper

Thanks …… Poor guy ….. he’ll be fed up.

Fed up because of the injury ? or fed up that he joined a shower of sh!te ?

Whoever made the desision to let Fondre go in the Jan window should be taken down to market square and publicly flogged with a cat n nine tails made up of knotted Tic scarfs.
No club at any level should ever be left with anything less than 3 recognised strikers, but then again its Latics.

I would like to see Kellet given a chance playing in the middle of the park. He’s excellent control on the ball with an accurate pass. He always tries to play his way out of trouble rather than hoof.

The new Perkins ? (Puts motorbike helmet on top of tin hat)

If this club won the Champions league the World cup the boat race and Eurovision song contest there would still be some moaning gets on here whinging about summat.

And too fookin right we do !, that’s because we care about the club. I pay my money to be entertained, what I’m seeing at the moment is some of the worse football in my 40years as a latics fan.
The league and stats don’t lie. I bet your one of those:- “Eeeeeee, never mind, look at Wimbledon !!”,
There you go, we all feel much better now now ….ffs….

Not many teams are worse than us. Although I put a lot of blame on Joyce the players need to look in the mirror as well.

If Barrow does make changes to players and positions in the next 9 games and we go down are we still going to blame the manager ?.
This season has been a collective disaster from the chairman, manager to players and each party will have to shoulder some of the blame when were down.

A state of the art academy does not guarantee you the next Messi or Ronaldo. Chelsea reportedly have 40 odd players out on loan so their academy is working well for other clubs. How many of the top clubs have homegrown players in abundance in their first teams?. Pressure dictates that success means spending big and paying massive wages not nurturing your own.

Please don’t try and draw a comparison with Messi Ronaldo and Chelsea. The bigger clubs have the financial strength to never need to use youth players.
There is no argument here, we would stand a far better chance with a good youth system rather than loan after loan and free i.e end of career players with no conecction to the club.

It worked for Southampton years ago who once were on the brink of disappearing for good
