Quite a few Latics items on EBAY for those collectors amongst usThere not collectors items , there just everyone’s old shirts clogging up the draws
He is a Latics fan you know
A good one too. Used to be at Springfield quite often, and if I remember rightly presented Simon Haworth with a Welsh cap on the pitch before one game.
He should have given him a Dutch cap the big girl
Well I am “buzzing” simply because the season is coming soon and would be “buzzing” whether we have signed players or not and would be “buzzing” whatever level our club would be playing in.have you got your finger stuck in a plug socket ?
It might simply be that nobody can be harsed with a season ticket. A good idea would be to bring some players in and create some excitement amongst the fans.
I would normally be buzzin about the new season but for some reason I don’t give a toss. Everytime a young exciting players name it links with us it soon disappears and a more reliable name appears.
We use to take gambles buying young players but nowdays were hell bent on safe bets, so on that note do you think they would extend season tickets till November then I can make my mind up then ?
no mention of what he died of, sounds suspicious to me
I think “monitoring the situation” means DW said :- “WHAT !?,A FEE ???”
none of those above are getting any younger plus Rosler needs to build his “own” team. I personally think we need to raid lower clubs of their prize assets and get back to what we have done in the past, buy cheap, nurture, sell big.
We are signing two players before weekend. The first one is Andrew Taylor from Cardiff. A 27 year old Left wing-back who has played 100 games for Cardiff since signing in 2011. before that he played over 100 times for Middlesbrough. B)
The second one is James Tavernia a 22 year old right back who has spent most of his career on loan at various clubs. He is a Newcastle player, but spent most of last year on loan at play off promotion winners Rotherham. B)
And the Euro lottery is …….?
I can’t see the FFP rules making any difference anyway, and part of me thinks the rules themselves should’t have been brought in anyway.
If a club acquires a rich benefactor who wants to through billions at a club, why should he not be allowed to?
Why if you have small income through the turnstiles should you not be able to spend your benefactors money to improve yourself if he is willing to spend it.If I remember correctly, wasn’t this how the Latics got themselves out of the 3rd tier and on their way to the premiership. Clearly it wasn’t a billionaire owner, but Mr Welan did dig deep to assemble a well-paid squad to get out of that division and then on to the premiership a couple of years later.
We on about the same Whelan here ??? that’s like comparing broken glass to diamonds ffsI know you’re fishing – but the club (not him personally) did use the money to plug the gap in finances caused by loss of Premier League money and to support the wage bill.Don’t you mean to pay for that lump o lard who went Villa ? Jesus he’s back, it’s easier to get rid of crabs !
Cardiff haven’t wasted anytime if prep for next season
Caldwell isn’t good enough. In the Prem apart from those last seven games the season we stayed up he wasn’t good enough. He’s been out all season comes back and missed a penalty at Wembley setting the tone for the shoot out. Plays well and then lunges in giving away a penalty. You may disagree but he’s a liability and I’d rather see him punch the floor somewhere else
Caldwell didn’t put a foot wrong until the penalty but, as Tyldesley says, people can’t wait to pick on an easy scapegoat.
No but when he does put a foot wrong it’s a size 17’s clog – Swansea , Arsenal , QPR. And by the look on his face and the consoling from Uwe, he knew. I bet me nan’s hips are in better nick than he’s and she’s 87.
