      I think Sunderland are a big club, big stadium lots of history capable of drawing big crowds, able to sign joe hinnigan for a big fee etc. Stop bickering chaps mutty posts some good and valid stuff, he can’t help being burdened by his choice of club, after all if he is like me his club was passed down and not chosen!

              Good win. Clark looked strong and put away a decent cross, but we wasted three or four crossing opportunities. Give them too much room in midfield centre. Played good stuff wide until the final ball. Fox looked good. It was a bit panicky towards the end and they had a header and also it the bar. Two great saves early doors by Jones. James played well

                Technically I think we are now stronger, but only because Grigg was not playing. I would probably swap Clarke for Vaughan, Connolly was a waste of space and Everton fans I have spoken to say the new lad is mustard, and we have signed two defenders. Time to look forward now lads, sad to see Grigg go but it’s done now no point in harking backwards, I used to have a lot more hair and was 20kg lighter, that’s not going to change either.

                                This must be one of the most unpopular departures ever! The only sense is if we have something lined up as losing two strikers and signing one when u don’t score enough is mental. I can’t remember being as puzzled by a sale ever
