Think I agree with you on that vat. Problem is that mac Donald and Perkins are too alike or at least asked to play similar roles, and as mac Donald has the edge he has been selected ahead of perks.That said defensive mids aren’t the problem, it’s the central attacking ones where we have fell short..Powers not been up to it and Gilbeys injury scuppered us.
