Agree, your only allowed an opinion on this board, if your in the special group of the ‘we are always right brigade.’
You know who you are!
Well Lowton that can’t be me, everytime I post they tell me I’m wrong
To be fair, I’ve only ever accused you of being a miserable bastard ;)
Oh yeah, sorry my mistake ;)
only if we sell, more likely to be loansWell the general feeling on this board is that we will sell big time :(
It is my opinion, not idiotic or ill informed if you consider the history and size of your club. My point is getting at, i would rather better supported, traditional teams graced the premier league like the sheffield clubs. Wigan is and always will be a traditional rugby town which can be seen by the attendances on a friday night to a rugby union game compared to a saturday afternoon premier league game. I think you brought 250 to the sol, a couple of hours up the road on a weekend. We had 3500-4000 at the dw on a stormy tuesday night in the middle of winter. Its great for the odd season to have a blackpool ( who have more history and support than you by the way) grace the premier league. But there is nothing about your club that suggests anything other than survival is all you set out to achieve, Which by the way i said in my previous post i think you will do again this season. But is that enough for a supposedly established premier league team who have had several seasons in the top flight. Surely top 12 should be an aim by now.First point there is no way you brought any where near 4000, a good turn out but lets not exaggerate. We have no real history so our fan base is building now whereas you have been a big club. And you must have a short memory because remember Roker Park what was your crowd average there??? Also we have no debts compared to your team who I would imagine are massively in debt. And guess what for all the money you have spent you will never get in Europe and will probably never win anything.

GOMEZ IS ABSOLUTELT RUBBISH made a point of watching him last night. 1 tackle in the whole game Was trotting along the side of the Sunderland players and if I say trotting that was an exageration. Also EVERYONE can see that Jones is to slow to play in that postion, as is proved every game, so why does this clown keep playing him there???? I’m afraid i’ve got to the point, after watching them from the non league days, that although I’ve got a season ticket I’m seriously thinking of not going again, unless there are some drastic changes in the management i.e. MARTINEZ or his so called “Attractive style of football” :(
Thought Jones playerd v.well last night.. And Gomez wasnt too shabby either… so with all due respect Bronx I disagree completely.
Salford what game did you watch??? Gomez was. none existent and
Jones was at fault messing about for one of the goals. Great
Performances, NOT.no your notSorry Griff but I have to agree with rodallegabomb on this one No Your Not :P
He leaves Moses and Diame on the bench. Two of our best players in the last month. Clever idea Martinez 1-4. Yeah good one. Still clueless then.
I presume they were both carrying knocks or something but you never know.
Victor came on in the first half, if he wasn’t fit I’m sure Bob would have brought someone else on so early. And bringing MoMo on with 4 minutes plus stoppage time while loosing 4-1??? I suggest they were both fit and Bob dropped a bollock.
Don’t be ridiculous! No matter how thick you think Bob is he would have not have left them out for no good reason. Having slight knocks or about to be sold are perfectly plausible reasons for them not starting. Had Crusat not had to go off, I’m sure Moses would have stayed on the bench.
If there about to be sold God help us, but if they are to be sold would it not have been a good time to bring there replacement in to the first team squad????
Should this lad be with us now ?http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11682/7409205/Golobart-extends-SPL-stay
I’ve not seen him play but if he is not better than Ghouri I suggest he stay’s in Scotland.

didnt we have boyce on bench, straight swap one for one, why make so many changes and disrupt the team
Boyce was in the squad as a last resort. He’s had personal problems and hasn’t trained or played for weeks.
Anyhow, it was a case of one for one – as it was still three centre halves.
The problem isn’t due to formations – it’s due to stupid, careless defensive errors: ‘Foul’ on the edge of the box; Jones trying to dribble and losing it; Figueroa being caught way out of position.
Going forward, they were okay. I’ve seen them play worse than that and win. I actually think Caldwell was missed – even if just to have a leader on the pitch.
And in answer, Graeme Jones has been a coach and assistant manager before – at Swansea. Unfortunately there isn’t the money at the club to bring in top class coaches.
The thing is though Standish Bob wants them to play from the back and how many times do we get ourselves in trouble. If we don’t have the players to play that way it’s simple don’t. But Bob has got to take the blame it’s his team playing his way.
that we take the initiative tomorrow night, and climb out of the bootom three !goodpost goodpost goodpost
Billy Sharp in?Hope not
Supporters!!!! these people do not support United to have never missed a game on the telly does not make them supporters.
If McCarthy starts to find his intended target when passing instead of coming up short then we will be even better in midfield ! I counted 8 passes on Wed that had us under Unnecessary pressure, all from McCarthy ! Dont get me wrong, he puts in a shift but his passing is dire at times !I thought he played well on Wednesday
It has taken Bob two and a half years but he has changed his formation and we finally seem to have a formation the players can play. It’s early days but after the last two matches I feel a lot more confident for the rest of the season. Us Darksiders have been urging Bob to try something else as his plan A did not work, he has and look whats happened.
Well done Bob goodpost goodpost goodpost
Christ, I wondered how long it would be before some spare-room tactical genius on here tried to claim credit for a recent slight change in our fortunes. Might have known it would be you.
Where in my post did I take credit for our change in tactics???? Although you cannot deny that I have on numerous occassions suggested we needed to change tactics, formation. I was giving credit because we have looked 100% better in our last two matches, long may it continue.
Well, I’d suggest the bit were you mentioned that “us Darksiders have been urging Bobby to change formation and tactics”. The mere thought that Bobby would bother his arse to listen to anybody on these message boards is frankly laughable.
In any case, JR is spot on elsewhere on this thread where he puts the improvement down more to players finding form, fitness and no little confidence rather than the slight tweak in formation.
He’s also right in saying that the usual prats will all be back with their doom and gloom if, as is quite likely, we lose on Monday.
Sorry Griff I have to disagree, Caldwell turns like a static caravan but as the centre of a back three he very rarely gets turned. Also Gomez would struggle to tackle his Christmas Dinner but with the new formation he has less responsibility when we don’t have the ball. The formation seems to suit the players better and as I said before long may it continue.
Also anyone who expects a result from Old Trafford and moans if we don’t get one needs ragging. If we don’t get stuffed I’ll be happy.
