I normally treat these kinds of report with a pinch of salt but if the story that’s jut been on SSN that Rodallega has priced himself out of a move to Everton by asking for £70k a week is true, then well done to our club management for telling him to f*** off if that was his negotiating position with us. And more fool Fulham if they are prepared to do it.
But Griff is that not why players run down a contract. The new club because no fee is involved end up paying the player a huge signing on fee which probably makes his wages massive.
Of course it’s the reason they do it. But it doesn’t mean that anybody then has to agree to his excessive wage demands, does it?
And I don’t see how a big signing-on fee impacts on his wages. They are two separate items.
So you honestly believe Fulham will give him a big signing on fee and 70k a week

Personally I really like this guy.
I know he snubbed us earlier but I still think he would be great for us!
discuss.

How do you know he snubbed us?. The only one on record as snubbing us from Bristol City was Nicky Maynard. :P
Well jr the fact he didn’t sign for us is a bit of a give away ;)
Are you has thick as Donners Hindley. Read this slow and see if it sinks in..
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez hopes to seal a £2.5million move for Watford defender Adrian Mariappa.
“The highly rated 25-year-old was a target for Newcastle in January but the two sides failed to agree a fee. Reading also had a bid rejected last month.”
Were in that lot does it say that he has snubbed us? B) :P
jr us talking to Mariappa on deadline day was all over Sky Sports News. So jr may be it’s you who’s as thick as Donners

A proper result for me, no need to set off from down south at the crack of dawn on the Saturday to get back in time.As for the schedule, the best team of the last 3 months of last season on once (1st game)then not on for a further 3 months at least. Meanwhile, 3 promoted clubs Reading are on 4 times, Southampton 3 and best of all………….Everyones darlings and masters of beautiful football…. West Ham on an eyecatching SEVEN times. :pinch:
Subscription cancelled. It absolutely stinks, who the fook wants to watch Wet Spam once??? It’s bordering on cruelty showing them 7 times with Big Sam and his football academy.
I bet he’s taken some pointers off Del Bosque for this season ;)
That is exactly the point, Boris Johnson will be there as Mayor of London, starting the opening ceremony and passing on the flame after the closing ceremony. He will no doubt have a major role to play during the games as well in his capasity.
Lord Coe will be involved in his side of things.
Cameron will no doubt be involved in his way.
John Terry will be there or there abouts….And this is why in the spirit of the games, omitting a person who bleeds for this country and was influential in London actaully getting the dam games, is disgusting.
I thought a lot of Stuart Pierce before this and not picking him to feature in the squad was bad enough, but not even as cheif coffee man…. he needs to give himself a shake and get over what ever grudge he holds….
IMO jayt it’s jealousy, Beckham if picked would be the main man and Pearce the tosser obviously can’t handle that.
Is this site advertising match day hospitality at Man Utd?I was just thinking the same thing when I signed in
Brings back memories of days gone by, proper football fans watching proper football goodpost
Italy played really well against England and Germany and although Spain will start as favorites it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the World if they won.
£8m for a Tottenham reserve who’s hardly got any first team experience, I think not.
In all fairness we may have a ready made replacement in dicko.
tried to keep an eye on him when I could last season and seen a few comments on the net stating he must start the rest of the games for the season … Big shout considering the forwards they already had in the team.
With a frightening change of pace and an eye for goal I think he is going to be a really good player one day but I would love to see victor build on the latter part of last seasons form.
But saying that I think I would take 10 million….
As much as I like Victor I’d go and help him pack if someone bid 10mill, he’s not as good as he and his agent think he is IMO.
Something we agree on :woohoo:
At last ;)
Never should Celtic or Rangers be allowed to play outside of Scottish Football.
why did we have a left back taking a penalty before a 35 million pound striker ?A question I’ve asked myself especially after the interview before the game when he was asked about scoring for England. To which he replyed I would think never, not great if he had already volunteered to take a penalty if needs be.
Mind you after his attempt I’d say never was spot on :(
Ashley Young should not even have been on the pitch to miss his penalty, he had an absolute nightmare of a tournament.
Sorry but the kermit thought he was bigger than the club, well I wouldnt touch him again with a barge pole.Good player but not as good as he or his agent reckons.Fair play to Moses he hasnt consistently stated he wanted to better himself and intends to leave at the first opportunity. When Victor moves on we will carry on what we have been doing since 2005 and bring in a replacement if he is the right guy.
So refusing a double your money contract and saying he’ll go to the highest bidder is a show of loyalty??? He’s done exactly what Charlie did, he was quoted last season that he wouldn’t sign a new deal with us and wanted away.
Hinders, when has Victor ever said he was going? Chelsea have reportedly made an offer so of course he is now willing to review his career. With Zog it was every transfer window first Brum then Mackams etc till he wound up at Villa. How can you say Moses has done exactly the same?
He said last season he would not be signing a new deal and would be looking to move in the Summer. Long before Chelski came sniffing.
Every player has ambitions to better themselves nobody can blame them and with Victor he has seen his contract thru with no constant mentions of leaving. No player in todays game will stay loyal if he is offered a massive pay rise and he knows this so he has done his bit and is now looking for a reward for his efforts.Zog went because of his ego he was always too good for Wigan Athletic Scharner was another I just dont see how you can put Zog and Victor in the same camp.
The only reason Victor has not made any noise about moving before now is that up to this season the bugger never played. He would have struggled to get a move anywhere when he couldn’t even get in the team.
