After the Chelsea game, the run-in isnt that bad with games against Blackpool, Sunderland, Everton, West Ham & Stoke.
Its likely that 3 of the last 4 games will be against sides who will be safe in mid table and points should therefore be easier to come by. My concern is that by 5pm on the day of the Blackpool game, the points tally has still not reached 31, as its looking increasingly likely that 40 points may be needed to stay up this season.
We have not won back to back games while Bob has been in charge. So this run everyone keeps talking about????

Dave, as I said in a post a couple of weeks ago, for every rise, there’s a fall.I hope we stay up, and the win on Saturday is another small step towards that, however I won’t be drawn into saying we will definitely stay up or will definitely go down. It’s something you can’t predict at this stage without risking a substantial amount of egg on the face.

With the exception of Hugo IMO he is better than anything else we have.
This weekend we can take our thoughts away from the league and look forward to a local derby in the cup. Was going to wait till Friday but got them before the game on Tuesday. Really glad I did because we’ve sold our initial allocation of 2,000 tickets out!

Well Micky C sorry to rain on your Bob loving parade but I’m going Saturday and I’m sure plenty other members of the Dark Side are. We will be hoping our team stuff’s the Noblot barstewards. Our gripe is with the incompetent manager, but Wigan is still our team.
