Change the record pal its all ive heard all week! website should be called depressivelatic not cockneylatic, the pompey game didnt go our way, but least we didnt lose. Fk me get over it!!
Your missing the point how poor were we? to say the game didn’t go our way is total denial, under Bob the way we play is a joke.You can’t be happy with what you have watched this season and it ain’t improving.
It’s now Friday and I’m still spewing at how bad we were and lets not kid ourselves we were absolute garbage we were only playing Pompey reserves. We had loads of posession but don’t we always!!!! 25 passes across the back four is not my idea of posession, quality football. If you don’t score goals you don’t win football matches and against the poorest teams in this division Bob has played one striker and we never look like scoring.
We may stop up but it will be despite of Bob not cause of him and at the end of the season I would tell him and his 4-5-1 to fook of as this season has been an absolute disgrace :x :x :x :x
Duke, we dominated the game. The majority of it was played in the pompey half. They very rarely threatened going forward. This is not because of their reserves playing but because they came to sit back be stubborn and frustrate us.
We had absolutley no space to play and break them down. It wasnt a bad performance, just we couldn’t break through. We should have been bombarding the box with crosses but Nzog and Rod dont know what one of those are!!! That is the only way we would have got anything.Wilmslow I have two points to make
1 Neither Charles or Hugo are playing on the right side, when they get the ball there instinct is to come inside on there stronger foot. This has two disadvantages one we become really narrow especially with five in midfield, it gets to crowded and also especially in Charles case it means he has to beat the full back at least twice to get away from him.
2 With only one striker I use the term very loosely in Scotlands case as he is absolute shoite (but thats for another thread) even if you get a cross in there is no chance of him getting on the end of it so whats the point. And in my opinion thats why Hugo and Charles try and do to much as they have no confidence in there fellow striker.
I suggest you follow another team things aint changing :shock:Why should I follow another team? Wigan have been my team since my Grandad first took me in the Northern Premier League and I have supported them ever since through thick and thin so don’t tell me to go support someone else.
They are and always will be my team but the way Bob has managed us this year has been nothing short of a joke.He is going to undo years of progress in if not one season definately two seasons as he is a clown without a clue about how to manage at the highest level.

Tonight for the very first time, I came close to walking out before before the final whistle. Never would I imagine that the performance of our team would cause so much dismay. Everyone can understand why you stated at the beginning of the season that you would stick with Roberto whatever happens but even you must now admit this was a massive mistake!
Never before have I witnessed such a poor performance from a group of players who are obviously not playing for the manager. He has lost complete control and it shows. Is it any wonder that the crowds are drooping off like dead flies when thats we have to put up with. Sometimes you have to admit your mistakes and eat a bit of humble pie,Dave. I dont think that sacking Roberto now will have any effect on this season but please do the right thing as soon as the final whistle blows at Chelsea and get rid. He is obviously not up to the standards the premiership demands and must not be allowed to carry on and take this club down any faster than it already is. If the players had any remorse then they should offer the fans their money back after that performance tonight……… a total disgrace.
Dave, you are normally quick enough to spout off about the termoils of other clubs………….. spout off about your own and show the fans who pay their hard earned coin that you are prepared to do whatever it takes to get this wonderful club back on the road to success.

One of the best performances i’ve seen, without us scoring, they did everything right except score.Sorry but what game did you watch?
one up front at home, against the bottom of the league, already relegated, 4 players with little or no premiership experience in the Portsmouth side, Scotland starting the game (i know you will all say he is calss BECAUSE HE HAS SCORED ONE DEFLECTED GOAL AT FULHAM), Moses gets to come on at 88 minutes – total joike manager, total joke club appointing the absolute no mark (in managerial terms) bob head.
If he did indeed have any love for Wigan as a club he would tender his resignation with immediate effect at final whistle on the last game of the season.
And Jay, before i get slated for not being positive, there are no positives. We played the worst team in the league, who where completely under strength, who pretty much comfortably held His Highness, the god like Martinezs charges at bay all night.
Cant you see that he may be a great guy, he may have been a good (lower league) player for Wigan. HOWEVER HE IS AN INEPT PREMIER LEAGUE MANAGER.

He is a nice bloke and on that side of things I have only positives to say about him, oh and I did see him play for us so we have previous.
On the footballing side he is clueless we play the same way no matter who we play and most of the time it does not work. A good manager picks a system to suit his players or the opposition not stick rigidly to one system.That is why even if we stop up for me he has to go, he is not learning he is so pig headed and arrogant we will play his so called total football even if it takes us down.

Seems to me we don’t know what we have till they leave e.g. Valencia not to long ago people said not good enough for United not worth 18 mill.
