My thoughts exactly SL. Think his reputation has influenced this ban. There are numerous incidents i can think of in previous seasons a lot worse than this that did not carry bans of this length…
God help the next bloke that next swings and elbow or breaks a leg..Not a good thing to see happen on a footy pitch but it happened to Ivanovic!!! goodpost.
Wasn’t it Ivanovic that punched Maloney in the stomach….I can confirm that we’ve gone past the originally allocated tickets (assuming the coloured seating plan on the official site is accurate) It’s coloured up to block 515 or maybe 516, but the seat that I got this morning is in block 518.Girl on the counter this morning said they sold out upto initial allocation (block 515) on top tier yesterday, and this morning they had sold up to block 519 already.
Yes i noticed that but didn’t ask as i assumed the must have given us more. Whether they released for just to top row i’m not sure
Why on earth would they give us more?! We will struggle to sell what we have already!!
As it’s the final i think we will sell the 21k no problem. The top tier is for the cheaper seats (if you can call them cheap) so as we have sold our initial allocation up to block 515 they released more blocks up top to accommodate the demand for cheaper seats.

Got mine from the ticket office this morning and am in block 519. Lady showed me the seating plan and said top row was sold out upto 519.
£45 tickets and i am 2 rows behind the £65 tickets… great view and should have a good view of us lifting the cup :cheer:Should be straightaway.Have you put in both client code and the surname? And made sure they’re correct? (I’m not being patronising by the way, just trying to figure why there may be a problem)
Yes did all of that but for some reason i can’t buy four tickets in one go. can only seem to enter one client code? Probably me that is the problem but will buy at the ticket office tomorrow.
Thanks AnywayDidn’t need to log in twice.Too late to advise you now I’m afraid, but if anyone else is doing this you put in the number of tickets you want eg 4, and then it’ll ask you to assign the others to another client code. You’ll get them all together.
Garswood, when you active a client code how long does it normally take to register? It’s not letting me assign extra tickets for some reason.
I’m getting the message below… Queue on line!! that must be a first for Latics
“The Box Office is currently experiencing high demand. You are in this queue.”
Scharner was great when he first came back and was key to our defensive turnaround (as well as robles). But, he has definitely been off form for the last few games. His decision making, passing & positional play seem to be all over the place at the moment.
He needs to concentrate on defending as he is trying to cover too much ground at the moment and it aint working for him.Surely it has to be two tickets per season ticket holder? Why would the club give 14k tickets to non season ticket holders and only 10k to the ones who show loyalty and buy up front? don’t make sense.
why should we now be bothered about non season ticket holders not getting a ticket?
Our average attendance for home fans is about 14k so if 20k go to season ticket holders then the fans who turn up and pay on the gate every week will get a ticket.
Anyway, i think when a few see the prices of the final tickets they might think twice anyway.Millwall fans actually kicked off in the Wembley corporate section on Saturday also. This is a pretty plush place so you don’t get your average hooligan going in there.
Looking at the video clips it’s pretty conclusive that some of them are absolutely pished out their brains…Think Claridge was speaking with heart rather than head…
You read it wrong then. I’ve not said i am worried about our crowd but that the figures mentioned by others on here if true, were poor. But they were way off the mark. As for the bad press comment, it has already started has it not. Not bothered about that either, i just knew what was around the corner.
In all honesty, my comments weren’t solely aimed at you.
Aimed more at the few posting on here who seem to be obsessed with the numbers we’re taking.
Your post just happened to be the first I saw that mentioned the crowd, after I’d decided I was going to let off some steam :)Regarding the bad press, yes it has started – but the point I’m trying to make is.. who’s bothered?
You’re obviously not, as you state – so why mention it at all? ;)No bad press is a positive step for our little club me thinks?
You’re right, it’s not positive at all.. but we’ve never let it affect us in the past, so why start now?
I know what you’re saying though. A lot of our fans STILL let it get to them – amazes me.These “same old, same old” negative, bullshit stories should be like water off a duck’s back to all Wigan players/fans/staff alike.
We’re the media scapegoat.. the easy target – the team they all love to hate.
F*ck ’em!
As you rightly say it was mentioned a fair bit on here so thought i’d put me bit in too…
To be honest i’m sick to death of all the talk of ticket sales. I’m sure i heard talk sport (alan brazil) say we had only sold about 15k this morning? But then one of the lads at works showed me the sky website this morning where it said 22k??? I am just looking forward to Saturday now :woohoo:
Predictions for SaturdayMillwall 1 – 4 Wigan Athletic
1st Goal – Figueroa
Not so sure about the figs bits?? Keep your money in your pocket and have an extra pint on Saturday
