Robinson move fallen apart apparently
Where have you heard that, nowt on SSN in the 26 mins that have passed since you posted.???
Being reported in the Italian press. Check out our Newsnow page.
Newsnow! Fek me that site is a load of bollocks. I have seen the tweet from the Italian who could be the biggest Inter fan to ever walk the planet. Why is it not been on SSN, they have had a reporter traveling with Robinsons enterage all day.
Hope for the lads sake its just newsnow bullshit. From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!£10m fee agreed he’s flying out tomorrow to discuss terms and have a medical.

What a journey!Looks like they are already making excuses moaning about the ref appointment.
Only won 1 game in 3 with him in charge, let’s not be the one. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Just one change for the Leeds game, Williams for Dowell.
Don’t think we need many changes. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! Not sure Colchester are in any position to shout the odds. Give them a 4-5 hundred grand and that’s their books balanced for the season.

What a journey!Just rejected £6.5m bid.

What a journey!Probably pay over the odds now though as they know we have 10m in the bag and need a LB.There will be nowhere near £10m int bag egg. Everton have a good sell on clause I believe, plus it wont be straight 10 mill down there will probably be half that, plus addons for first team appearances etc. Be lucky to get 3-4 million from it to use on transfers.

What a journey!I was ready for walking out when Gelhardt was subbed off.
Somehow, tonight was typical Latics
Why? What exactly did Gelhardt contribute?
He was no better, or worse, than anyone else up to that point, apart from playing in Robinson in the 1st half. But as we were on top I had visions of him linking up with More to win the game. I never expected the subs to have such a dramatic effect, why would I after this season so far?
Credit where credits due, the subs worked, Jacobs looked fresh, Lowe scored, we held on.
The booing when Gelhardt was subbed was totally unnecessary and unwarranted. More importantly it does the lad no favours whatsoever and only adds the pressure that has already been placed on his clearly self-evident, inexperienced shoulders.
I’m thinking the opposite on this. To be fair the lad only had a handful of touches most of them being productive, the jinking run in the box, the sublime pass to Robinson, the run from the corner when he was scythed down just outside the box. He probably felt himself that he had not really imposed himself on the game, so the reaction from the crowd when he was subbed must have made him feel that his contribution had been appreciated.
Listening to Cook’s post match interview he more a less said that it was planned to give him 60 mins and then bring Jacobs on. Why would that be when he doesn’t know what impact the lad was having on the game. He could have scored two and be trying for his hat trick but he would have still brought him off it seems. It’s either that or he was looking for an excuse as to why he brought him off following the crowds reaction. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Keep away if that’s how we are going to fair when you don’t go. Lol

What a journey! When I mention how good Sam Cosgrove is doing at Aberdeen most on here reckon its only Scottish football so it’s easy. That being the case what good is it to WAFC letting a bright prospect play in the lower leagues in Scotland
How is it good for the lads progress. This lot running our club are feckin halfwits.Agree, and for the record quite a few clubs in England sniffing round him. Like I said you don’t try, you never know. We seem too impatient with the young players yet stick by others week in week out despite them being shyte.

What a journey!Have we sold him? I thought he’d gone on loan to a club in a league equivalent to League Two after signing a new deal.He can only play against the players put in front of him. Unfortunately our clown of a management team didn’t want to risk him, even though the ones they select every week are losing nearly every game. Worst that could have happened is we continue to lose, but at least we would have an excuse that the lad is not ready. Cook has run out of excuses for the lads he selects every week.

What a journey!Whenever anyone mentions the playing of weakened sides I always think of Ian Holloway’s Blackpool getting a hefty fine for making a few changes against Villa. They only lost the game by the odd goal and the likes of united were fielding weakened teams against the teams at the bottom of the league on a regular basis.
I know that was a league game but rules for one and rules for others at its best. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Surely a club as MASSIVE as yours would expect to be in the top 2.
Why?
We’re a 3rd division club with 3rd division players. Our centre midfield is Max “Point then pass it somewhere else” Power and George Dobson, who was relegated with Walsall last season. Our keeper and starting centre forward have never played higher than L1. Our LB and LW are academy products. Our CB’s were signed from Coventry, a Turkish 2nd division club and QPR. Our RB was signed from Wycombe.
We are only MASSIVE in the eyes of those who see us that way – mainly because of our history, honours board and attendances, but none of those count when the game starts. But its nice to see that you think of us that way though.
SSB – You are just a sad troll – grow up.
Oh so stay in Div One then, if you think your a little club. Fridays draw against Donny agrees with you. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Clearly in the eyes of JR and Egg, he is still a top class striker, so buy him back then
Clearly you haven’t read my first post in this thread
I did but I chose to ignore your sly dig.
Wasn’t a sly did I was stating a fact, unless you feel your team are pulling up trees having just drawn at home and failing to score against Doncaster?
Your comment about not pulling up trees was made approx noon yesterday. We kicked off at 7:45pm and didn’t finish until almost 9:45pm. Prior to that game we’d won 4 out of 5, scoring 11 and conceding 2. All of it without Grigg.
My point about not pulling up trees was referring to your league position. Surely a club as MASSIVE as yours would expect to be in the top 2.
Even better point DNR don’t you think? From Matlock to ManU
