The lack of a striker who can actually score goals is the reason we are not already back in the Premier League.
We outclassed QPR tonight, just couldn’t score. How many times have we said that? :huh:
Still confident for Monday though. QPR will have to push forward more and we can pick them off.
For friday in the east stand and south stand and also from the ticket offices up to kick offGood, we need to boost trade :)
Just had another look at the online ticket plan thingy. South stand looks almost empty sadly. East & West plenty sold in the central sections but virtually empty at the sides. ES2 quite a few seats available as well.
The seat next to me in WS4 is available…if anyone’s that desperate for a seat :lol:
Just been on the online ticket office and it looks like almost every block is under 25% full. Hope sales pick up over the next couple of days, all ive seen over the last few days is season ticket holders moaning about having to pay. I dont get it, we had to pay for play offs in 2000 and 2001, we pay for cup games, i think £20 for a semi final is a bargainDisappointing news, given that the ST deadline was Monday to claim own seat.

With our main season over I’ve no problem with what Uwe did yesterday.
Yesterday’s result was irrelevant to Latics but the next 2 (hopefully 3) games are the most vital of our season. Should he have played his first choice side (whatever that may be!!) & risked having some of those 11 unavailable for the play offs through injury or suspension?
Personally I couldn’t care less about any respect or otherwise to any other club. What matters to me is Latics & that’s what Uwe is paid for too

) on Friday and may need to do so again on Monday. They’ve plenty of time to rest before the final.I’ve a sneaky feeling Brighton might do one on Derby. It frequently happens in the play offs when the 6th place team sneaks in at the last minute…literally this time!

Back in the Prem this time around I think Jordi will play with a lot more confidence. The margins at the top level especially are small between success and failure.

I did think they might have given free admission to ST holders (yes, I know they are a business, and that they gave us the European games for free, but still…..) The money surely is not an issue. Maybe a bit of incentive for a big crowd backing the team would have not gone amiss.What we need is someone who represents Supporters issues who could take this up with the club ;)
Totally agree with you GL…I very nearly posted along those lines on Tuesday night ie let ST holders in free.
It would have been a nice gesture, given a lot of us have followed the club to Wembley twice again this season and some abroad as well.
Surely it would have saved the club a lot of hassle selling tickets to ST holders at pretty short notice as well.
It is even more disappointing that we don’t get a discount even….if they must charge us it could have been £10-£15 with £20 to non-ST’s.
I’ll be there on Thurs/Friday as I presume most on here will, but if the FA Cup attendances are anything to go by, a lot won’t go, especially as it’s on TV.

Really bad today.Talking to my mate on the concourse we were really pleased with the team selection. Few of us would disagree that the selection was top…the players just didn’t perform today.
Uwe said in the programme that Blackpool would chase every ball; he wasn’t wrong.
They’re our bogey team. Last time we played them at ours we thought it was a given…erm 0-4 and my old mum got taken into hozzy in the morning as well :ohmy:

I went in the car to Birmingham when we played them in the PL.
No problems at all with parking, no scrotes offering to look after the car and no damage on return.
It’s not as bad as they’re making out, go in the car, cover your colours, take any stickers out of your car and no-one will know where you are from anyway.Seriously Horc….U got lucky
I do not recommend parking in the Small Heath/Boredesly Green area of Birmingham near St Andrews.
Like I said I lived there for 4 years…it really is a shitehole
