Never understand this clamour for information. They’ll update us when there’s something to update us on.

Sorry Adam but I don’t agree.

Surely Mal & Shaun have safely returned home by now, and must have a judgement how the situation is playing out.
So if it was good news, like we’ve seen the plan and believe us it is going to give us nothing to worry about, they would be giving the supporters a big smile with a nod & wink.
Silence only deepens the mystery and usually means there is something to cover up and we are not going to like it.

You need to face facts and be realistic and put those rose tinted specs back in the cupboard.

And yet again it shows what a great job the EFL did with their due diligence checks prior to the Bahrain Pirates getting the OK.

And what about Reading’s pending punishment that was in the mixer long before our misdemeanour !
The EFL will probably let them off until next season.

Could be the training ground, i.e. perfect land for housing !
We could then train at Robin Park, on a freebie from the council.

Who owns the Whelan’s Chippy site ?

It just feels like we will not survive this second Knock out Blow in such a short time frame.
    Absolutely gutted !

Jasmi to sell club asset to pay wages
    Looks like might be ground
If true its away games only for me[/quote

If it’s Pollard, I’m with you Bickymon; only away games and will not put a single penny into that stadium.
What worries me more is how do the players and staff get paid next month and the month after !
This total mess will do untold damage to the club; since with such a poor track record how are we expected to retain or buy a good standard of players. We might as well be a pub team !

    Absolutely gutted and disgusted.

    in reply to: Lineker #198749

So if Lineker is let of the hook, does that make it okay to use the Nazi salute that Lostock Hall mon mentions. I guess it does, it’s the voice of Lineker.

Like Papa says, just try giving the Ref a Nazi salute tomorrow night.
Better still, do it whilst wearing one of those paper mask things with Lineker’s face on it :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

in reply to: Wages not paid again… #198712

Like I said weeks ago, Pollard will be hovering like a vulture to nip in and get the ground for a steal !!!!!!!!!

    in reply to: Lineker #198697

Cannot remember a single moment when Lineker said anything remotely positive about the Latics on MOTD. It was always snide jibes about “little Wigan”. The only pundit to praise us was Lee Dixon.
I can remember the days when fans could taunt the cops or the ref with the Nazi salute. Imagine doing that at today’s football matches; the average man on terraces would be banned within two shakes of a bag of Salt & Vinegar. So Lineker should be aware (more tnan most) that any likening to the Nazis can only be seen as offensive behaviour ! What a total prick he is ! His own inflated ego prevents him from seeing how unpopular he really is.
As for all the pundits showing solidarity with crispy ears, I say sack them all and let some fresh blood replace the hangers on to the gravy train.

Lineker out :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

The only positions that deserved to be MoM contenders were our defenders.

in reply to: Amos Bottled It #198513

Butter it up all you want but Maloney must start planning for league 1. Keane,Fletcher, Lang won’t get us goals…..Power has Zero creativity. Our quality of crossing is as bad as I’ve ever seen. F###### Ibrahimovic would get goals here. What did we actually produce in the 1st half against as poor a side well play ???

Burnley’s so far in front, they are vitally guaranteed promotion and it’s possible we benefit from them heavily rotating the squad against us/trying to concentrate on a cup run. Unfortunately, it looks like their schedule sets up as Wednesday FA cup, Sat Blackpool, and then Saturday us, before another game Wednesday. So Blackpool might reap more of that benefit, or maybe we both face Burnley lineups at partial strength. Really, if I’m Burnley, I don’t want to drop points; but, if I do, it might as well be to a bottom club vs a top 10 club.

You make it sound like Burnley are playing Real Madrid ! It’s bloody Fleetwood man !
Chance for VC to blood some young guns !
Burnley will see Blackpool & Wigan as easy scalps and will want to be at full strength and wrap up promotion as soon as possible, so dont kid yourself !

in reply to: Amos Bottled It #198508

So if it was a foul, why was Amos not red carded ?
Johnson was losing control of the ball and toe poked it to the left of Amos then tried to go around his right and made a five course meal of falling over Ben’s right leg then pretending to be injured. The Ref was conned !
Their second goal started from a throw in near their own goal line, that the Ref incorrectly awarded to them and the liner was over half the pitch away.

A point would have been fair all around.

If we beat the Nobbers tomorrow (sneaky feeling we might) its usually the sign for the opposition to sack their Manager. The shame of getting beaten by little Wigan :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
