We got beat off a very poor Newcastle side tonight, The fact is they were there for the taking, we just dont know how to.
Newcastle would have been neaten by any decent side tonight.
Not our bunch though, we want to slow it down, pass it about when we cannot even pass properly, bore the fans to tears, sit back when were losing…

The referee went card crazy after giving us 3 last warnings for stupid fouls.
Alcaraz deserved to go.
Rodellega deserved to go straight red.
Today Wigan were very average in the first half but looked good value for heading in at 0-0 against a poor United side. The difference was our dodgy right side and Alcaraz out of position twice in the first half.
Yes they got a goal, but the first 8 minutes of the second we looked ok on the ball. Gomez was negative during two attacks which didnt help.
After the first red, we were in trouble but has we carried on with 8 defenders things didnt really change and we tried to make it difficult for them to break us down.
The most frustrating thing, if we had gone for United today, I honestly think we may have rattled them and had a chance of a little more than a point. Maybe a more positive manager would have had a go today.
I must also comment on our support today, the following of around 400 was awful to see, I know its expensive etc but we should be taking more than that!!! well done to everyone who went though.
Scharner wanted to leave every transfer window. Sulked when we dared not play him where he wanted to and he is now a legend.

Griff are you real, N Zogbia was excellent tonight and being our best player does take the ball on his own and rightly so.

We played Wolves who had 10 men and we were awful.
Our crowds have gone down due to the pathetic boring football we play. The new supporters would return if the team had some fight about them.

The fact is that I like to watch my team and like to see dedication, the man Martinez draws all enthusiasm out of the team, injects with championship players at best and plays the most dull football ever seen in the premier league. He is not good enough and should resign.
Anyhow, Raiders V Storm recorded from the weekend to watch. Also a good weekend of rugby at weekend on sky before the football MOnday, where do we fit it all in Griff?
Griff, if you believe I am wrong, explain what confidence you have that he will keep us in the premier league please as I am sruggling to think of any reason that he will. Championship play off winners may finish relegated but who else will be worse than us next year as Newcastle & West Brom won’t!!
