A Hull journalist on Talksport claimed Bullards wages could rise to £60k per week if he plays regularly for Hull due to display clauses in his contract.
”Its our ground, and the eggs are our tennants, of course the Latics take priority”I remember Whelan stating this time last year that he was going to transfer ownership of the DW Stadium from Whelco to Latics but does anybody have any proof that this has actually happened yet?? Just coz Whelan has said it doesn’t mean that it has either happened yet or is ever going to happen as we know what comes out of his mouth isn’t exactly gospel at times
If he hasn’t got round to doing it yet, then Latics are as much tennants as the rugby but whilst we’re in the top flight its clear our fixture needs have priority
Nothings ever clear at Latics the way ownership of the club and stadium has been split.
That being said Lenegan did confirm stadium ownership had switched to Latics and the rugby lease had extended to 50 years at a fans forum.
The theory is Whelan will maximise his income by selling Latics and the stadium as one.
You’d think it would have clicked by now.
Do you think it’ll be better on average than last season ?
No.[/quote]Are you taking time out from counting ticket sales for the Warrington game while glossing over the pitiful attendance last Friday?
There has never been a problem with the rugby playing after Latics.
When they moved last time around Sky insisted on a Friday game even though the stadium was available on the Sunday.
You would presume the stadium lease contract states Latics take priority in these situations.
It isn’t really fair on the rugby to switch their game but that’s one of the downsides of being a tennent.
Let’s be honest their fans are only interested in their two biggest regular season home games so the rest can be switched around with little fuss.
Martinez should be trying to sign a left back more than anything, only N’zogbia can play there and he’s needed elsewhere,If you believe Spanish news reports Javier Garrido is about to sign.
The Blackpool game may yet be rearranged and played at Latics.
Regarding the rugby play-off games these tend to have lower crowds than regular season games as season ticket holders need to buy tickets.
There really isn’t any need to wind up the rugby fans.
They’ll be posting in there droves if they have to move a couple of games in the coming weeks as is looking possible.
There was a match last night?
I can’t complain regarding last seasons shirts.
I bought the home and away shirt to add to my collection and a couple for my niece for the grand total of £30!
made my decision no season ticket again this year if its true ,not the clubs fault i know, but football is a p i s s take ,ill stick to watching when i can in pubs if i can be arsed .Don’t forget to remind everyone dozens of times before the season starts you won’t be buying a season ticket.
Thanks.
My reward this season was saving £210 on a junior season ticket with the Dads & Lads offer.
Of course I have to move to the South stand but I’ll now be able to afford to go to more away games.
How many superstars did the Germany team have?
They picked young and hungry players who can learn on the world stage and maximise their potential.
The only established player in the initial German squad was Ballack.
His injury was a blessing in disguise as he would have slowed down the midfield and prevented them breaking with such pace.
There is a lack of English players but we can still put together a young and talented squad.
