She comes across good and we have to hope this crew coming in will be as good as she expects. Not sure why what effect Warriors has on anything to do with it, we can live without them, they can’t survive without us.
It’s all gone very quiet, any updates Jayt/Ad

We definitely didn’t miss our own mud patch. The better standard of pitch allowed the ball to flow, which suited our runners.
Great effort from every single Latics player tonight !We played MK Dons off that mud pitch on Tuesday! We played Plymouth off their immaculate pitch last night! don’t see your point.
What is it about Wigan RL owners that make your skin crawl?
What is the cut off date as to when WASC has to use the supporters led bid?
Some of our fans are an embarrassment, the vast majority of which frequent vital and hence why I don’t.
What Leam has said resonates through the squad, they are basically turning up and doing fitness training. There are no guys monitoring performance and therefore the stats are not being fed to the non-existent coaching staff.
I know there will be a day where this club and this team will be back and back with a vengeance, it just will not be this season. Nobody in there right mind will buy a club that has no assets and no income to immediately start pumping money into it.
There is an argument that if we are relegated and they take over it will cost more, but right now we are not adrift and so I can fulwell see the ideology behind delaying the takeover as long as is possible. I might not like it or agree with it, but that is because I am a fan and not a multimillionaire that wants keep losses to a minimum
Jealousy is a terrible thing.
‘Look at me, look at me!
After five years I’ve finally summoned up the balls to troll a Latics forum because we’ve won the M62 Hub Cap and had a handfull of matches with attendances comparable to Latics. Unfortunately this feat has been relegated to the news in brief section and totally overshadowed by Latics win over Spurs so I have to boost my ego by posting here.
I also watch wendyball (clever put down don’t you think) but can’t admit to that as I follow an out of town team and feel like a prick for missing out on this towns greatest ever sporting achievement.
Many of my rotund fellow rugby fans do support their local team……….but they are from Bolton, Preston etc. and feel rather put out Latics have exceeded their teams performances in recent years.
Oh how I wish my sport was the world game and I didn’t have to bang on about local this, local that to cover up my sports failure to expand beyond the end of my back garden.
Still I enjoy this trolling lark and will try and convince Latics fans their club is being propped up by the rugby as I don’t want to believe Latics are one of the best run clubs in football.’
And to think last seasons team did the club so proud.
Cough.
I think Beattie can be like our Alan Shearer, our Ian Wright, our Ian Rush, or in fact our anybody who has ever put the ball in the net for fun.His mobility and fitness are unquestioned, as is his attitude.
No, I definitely think that Beattie can come to us and do so well, that in 40 years time, Mr Hayton, our chairman, will be welcoming him back in order to unveil a statue of him, or a plaque to mark the re-naming of a stand after him, in tribute to the 32 goals he scored for us in the 2010-11 season.
There we all are, waving at him, and tears in our eyes at the memory of it…….
And then I wake up and smell the coffee. It’s April 2011, we are rock bottom of the Premiership, and Beattie has played 9 games this season, due to inury and fitness worries, scoring 1 goal. And that went in luckily off his ar*e.
This club is a joke.
How about chilling out and waiting to see what sort of squad Martinez puts together and more to the point how we actually perform?
Anyone would think last seasons team was one of our greatest rather than the embarrassment they were for much of the time.
There was an attitude problem at this club a good six months before Martinez arrived and it’s taken some time for him to put his stamp on the squad.
No doubt about that, although i just can’t imagine Titus ever being the kind to cause any tension. He seems way too laid back to have an attitude & ego like some of them do.[/quote]I doubt he has so it could just be a move that suits both parties.
