The Spanish seem to know what’s needed and have already spoke to players they want to bring in. Trouble is the pricks EFL these players wont hang around forever waiting for it to go through.
I have said all along if the Spanish bid is not accepted we will fold. Any new bidders who have to go through the fit and proper test will pull out when they realise they will not be able to bring players in to avoid certain relegation. It’s just over 7 weeks till the transfer window closes so our only hope is the Spanish as they will have time to recruit players we desperately need. Any other bidders will simply not get a transfer window by the time the pathetic morons at the EFL have spent forever doing a new fit and proper test. It’s time to start praying boys coz we are in a deeply grave situation now.

He could have had us on 2nd July prevented the fire sale and we would be pissing this league by now. To me it’s a load of shite. The Spanish had the balls to stump up the necessary and have stayed interested despite the EFLs antics.

Couldnt agree more cw. It’s the so called experienced players that are killing the club not the younger ones.
In over 50 years watching or playing football I have never seen a team in such control capitulate so badly after going down to ten men. That today was unacceptable unforgivable and simply pathetic. Where is the real Wigan Athletic coz that shite wasnt.

TB, if it goes through without the SC it shows they do have the funds. My reading of it is the SC are not happy with the terms and want a bigger role so at the time they are not putting in the money. But I imagine talks can take place at length between the owners and SC once the takeover is complete which has a Thursday deadline. I may be wrong but that’s how I see it.
