Victor Moses and Tom Cleverley are English.And Latics don’t have an Academy as far as I’m aware, as there are a significant number of other clubs around that have them.
Oh – and am I happy being fourth from bottom of possibly the world’s highest profile sporting league – yes actually.
And as for crowds. Doesn’t bother me one bit. I was there – if others choose not to be that’s their prerogative.
well said, i remember playing wimbledon, and they brought about ten fans and had the whole of the east stand, they won 1-0 dont think they worried about how many they brought

Its funny really wigan have only been in the top flight a few years and i can bet i have been to more top flight games in the first season than the average wiganer who claim they support, man u, city, liverpool, everton, even spurs and chelsea

why are posts on a message board about martinez “disrespectful to the club” ?(i have never heard any defence by the editorial/moderators team on here of brenda spencer who has been ripped to shreds in the past)
what does “this club stand for” ?( not the clubs fault but we have some of the the most racist,homaphobic,chauvanist group of fans anywhere and many inhabit this board)and in other clubs fans eyes its the fans behaviour that identifies what a “club stands for”
Where was the “family club” behaviour at blackburn on saturday ?
It just seems to me that if its anything anti martinez its disrespectful but anything else goes,thats the trouble all the usual arguements for him are wearing thin and a good deal of barrell scraping is the only option left.

Have to agree, people think that martinez even whelan take a look at the posts on the site, and like you say they go mad about anti martinez posts, Its just the way they are feeling about whats going on, on the pitch its not disrepecting wigan athletic, Take a look at liverpool, united fans they voice there opinions but they still love there club
Above all else, the comments thrown at Roberto Martinez are disgraceful, they show a total lack of respect for him as a person, as a player and as a manager.Also, and this is what every fan that feels fit enough to hurl this abuse should look at, they should step back and look at his/herself’s comments and think “yes, that was objective, to the point and not disrespectful to Wigan Athletic Football Club”.
Ignore if you must the fact you are trying to tear apart a manger of the club you profess to support, you are dragging the name of the Club under with your total disregard for what this club stands (used to stand) for. We are a Family Club, and if you treat your family like that, well that would explain everything.
Have a bit of God damn respect when you spout off about WAFC and its staff, there is no need for the name calling and the childish insults. Debate about tactics, subs, the game, but stop the disrespect.
If things are going bad we pull together just like we have done in the past, we get behind the club.
Respect, tell the players and manager that after the final whistle
Maybe not change just give him some guidance, It would cost the club less, and maybe make him a better manager,
At blackburn we had 9million pounds worth of strikers on the bench, doesnt make sense when we dont score enough,
PSKL – don’t they say boredom is a disease of the unintelligent mind, or something similar?It’s just your opinion that the way we play is boring. I, for one, happen to like it. I admit we aren’t very good at it but just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it boring.
like i said b4 its my opinion, just because i find it boring doesnt mean you find it boring, if everybody was the same in life, it would be boring. dont follow, make your own decisions in life ;)
