I said in a previous post last week that starting with newcastle we had 5 winnable games coming up. That changed with man city game being rearranged, but that aside we have now won 2 of those games. Win 3 more & were safe methinks.
Going down in the car. Me, my son, dad, sister & a mate.
i said to a mate of mine that starting with newcastle we had potentially 5 “winnable”
games coming up. Thats now changed with city being thrown in as a rearranged game, but that aside; they are games we could win.I agree. I think we could get something at city. Not only that but we have 4 other games were we could pick up points.
Nope. Me too.
Personally i hope its millwall. Blackburn have a score to settle with us after we sent them down last season (though many will say they were already down – but it was WE who put the final nail in the coffin) & because of this will be fired up.
Its not just travel that needs to be sorted for some, others like me, need to sort out work as well as im working on both days of the semi.
At a guess, gomez, alcaraz & kone???
If we do manage to get to europe, just think, bobby possibly wont get lured away to another club & most of our out of contract players will sign new ones. In addition, european football will more than likely attract a better standard of player to wigan.
However, lets get past blackburn or millwall first.
;)I’m trying not to jump the gun vince, but i was thinking the same thing myself this morning. Do what roberto says – 1 game at a time.
I echo the sentiments of both nuneaton & galatic. Absolutely brilliant day & yes, just like the olden days of watching wigan. I remember as a kid back in 1987 being absolutely heartbroken losing to leeds. This was such a special day. Well done wigan.
Alcaraz was a rock today. Has definitely been missed all season. Hopefully now this can spur them onto 10 more cup finals.
Cheers tylsedley. I keep saying i’ll go & watch them 1 day (been saying it for 9 years mind you). Only a fiver to get in.
Does it really matter. I’ll still be supporting wigan whether it be versus man utd in the prem or versus runcorn town in the “whatever league they are in” – & TBH i have no idea what league my new adopted hometown team is in.
Its only a game at the end of the day. I’m not sure about others on here, but i’ve more important things in life to worry about like making sure i have enough money until payday to feed, clothe & shelter my family.
