Good point horc!
I would give walker a go with massey injured again. And he cant be any worse than windass – can he?
You wanted names. I’ve provided 3. Here’s another – joe royle :)
If you want names:-
Harry redknapp
Sam allardyce
Steve bruceAll available i believe.
Question mark over whether Evans can play still. Maybe a start for McDonald today if that’s the case.Your right about evans being unable to play due to him being on loan, & sheff utd have called the shots with that one. A permanent deal should be done for him this month.
I’m not inspired by this signing either. Signing someone from a team who are in a worse league position than what we are.
once we have consolidated at this levelI love how you have wrote “we” & not “if we have consolidated at this level” egg. Such positivity to start of the new year. Well done Sir! For the record, i’m with you.
the owners have the right to do what they want.
We know that. Dont stop us debating what to do though
yip just like your namesake the jigsaw.potted.lol.
Wasnt a jigsaw for us was he? Wish we still had a front 3 of him Lidds and Haworth.
I will admit stu. You did indeed form a cracking partnership alongside (the allegedly lazy) mr howarth & the legend that is sir andrew liddell.

Decent(ish) team egg & i presume you’re not far off the mark. But probably expect garner in for grigg – after his goal scoring feats the other day :)

It’s difficult to imagine Cook still being here on 2nd January.
It could happen. But that will require us to overcome our awful away form against two quality teams. And now turn around a home losing streak. Pressure games against top teams. But we are in this position because we’ve failed to pick-up the so called winnable points.
If we suffer a comprehensive defeat I could well see IEC pulling the trigger. We are past the point of a dip in form and in full blown crises mode. If they throw money at the problem of course Cook could do the job. I just worry he doesn’t have the answers if he has to continue with a limited squad and an absent Powell.
If the owners want premier league football in 2 seasons, they might just inject a little (but not too much that will put us in debt) more money into the kitty. I cant see them pulling the plug after a handful of games.
Super Stu.

If you’ve been left out just turn up on Tuesday and you may get a game.Makes as much sense as some of Cooks selections these days.
This is a great thread, and I approve of the rules. I also approve of being up front with Horc. I wont be commenting on toadys game as I didn’t submit the team. Disappointed not to carry on with the win, but delighted with 1 point.
Good thread to start.
Cheers GG! Im very highly honoured to make the bench. Sadly, im not available for the game on tuesday due to work. I am however, available for the villa game.
Lets see what january brings
Lose the next 2 and Cook won’t be here in January ! ;)
Sorry fil. I was referring to the transfer window & potential signings.
I was unable to go today due to work & unable to listen to WISH. Thought i’d bring this thread out of respite. Does cookie still need to be careful??
Lets see what january brings
