Shower of shite that shows England have no strength in depth. I’d expect nothing but self deluding optimism from this forums resident tank top and slipper combo wearing cretin LOL

I think you are over-reacting. As donny said, it was a training session for the reserves of both teams. And TBF, we were beaten by a very good goal.

Finishing 2nd could work in our favour.
What the actual F**k are You or Donny (I don’t care to brutally honest who said it because Your both singing from the same BS Hymn sheet) talking about? This is not a training session FFS this is the WORLD CUP FINALS…..Sheeeeeeesh LOL
Bob, to confirm, i have never sang from donny’s hymn sheet. However, on this occassion, i agree with him.

Usually the aim of a football match is to try & win it. Last night, both (RESERVES) teams tried NOT to win it. And i for one am convinced rashford missed his chance on purpose.

If southgate was that bothered about it – he WOULD have brought kane on & maybe two or three others.

But Spain had 7 Barca players in the 2010 squad.
Germany had 7 Bayern players in the 2014 squad.
Both relied heavily on Pep’s successful teams.
England 2018 have Walker, Stones, Sterling and Delph from Pep’s team. Not exactly the same.

Stop being a bleedin’ spoilsport.

All these coincidences were being raised for Liverpool recently and looked what happened there..

Ah! But jimmy, they came out with the same coincidences in 2005 & they won it then.

Except that City didn’t win “the league”.
They topped Division 2. Liverpool won the League.

I never said what league they won. And besides, i wasn’t born in 1966. It was something i found on the telly this morning.

In cook i trust. I hope he has players in mind.

You’re right there. England have scraped by Tunisia

Bit harsh that mutty. I personally thought they battered tunisia, but just couldn’t take their chances.

in reply to: Well done lads! #169834

TBF, the goal against tunisia was a soft penalty.

in reply to: new kit #169811

Tyldesley, at the time when we had the 3 amigos kit, i was at wolverhampton uni. I went in to the wolverhampton jjb store one day wearing said kit. All the staff were wearing the same. The only difference, mine had a badge.

Firstly, I had all the staff wondering who i was.

Secondly, this guy comes in & with the thickest of black country accents, asking how much these trainers were. My reply in my thickest of wigan accents, “Do i look like i work here pal?” Then showed him the badge.

It was more funnier at the time of it happening.

As i said in another thread, i think we will be fine providing cook doesn’t do a caldwell.

in reply to: Sky Sports Championship predictor #169791

We should be ok providing cook doesn’t do what caldwell did.

How about a left footed player on the left.

I assumed ashley young was left footed.

Burn is in the final year of his contract. I hope the club do everything to offer him a new contract.
