It’s the only way!
That means EVERYBODY working hard in Defence Midfield & Upfront. :angry:Unfortunately, based on today’s performance that’s where your argument falls down.
All I have to go off is a big bald fella and some spaced out hippy though :dry:Familiarise yourself with a picture of Colin Greenhalgh!
Because he makes every premier league game starting line up for weak.Stats will show this when he starts we rarely win the game I can think of the Arsenal game. Not premier league standard and Griff next time I will laise with you first before post because you are so knowledgeable about football,Bobbie what your back. That’s not the point. The point is that he wasn’t anymore guilty of giving the ball away or bottling out of tackles than the rest of the teams so why single him out?
instead we had Gomez pulling out off tackles and giving the ball away.Thought Gomez was one of our better performers today, especially first half, which wasn’t too difficult a task I’ll admit. As for giving the ball away the whole team can be crticised for that so why pick on him. At least he did try to create something going forward.
Anyone ?
Why don’t you give us your opinion?
Christ Sammy, don’t encourage him
You never know, I might be surprised, nay astonished, with his well reasoned, concise and articulate response. If it is called off it will be because the approaches to the ground are deemed to be unsafe and dangerous rather than anything to do with the pitch or playing conditions.
Anyone ?Why don’t you give us your opinion?
What, as goalkeeping coach?
Pie eating?
Ladies mud wrestling?
Morris dancing? You’ll need to be sharpish. Queue at 9 o’clock this morning was already half way round the North Stand and most people are buying multiple tickets.
How can that be? It is one per season ticket holder isn’t it?
Yes it is but most people are using family and friends season tickets to make multiple purchases.
The point I’m making is that they are all likely to go today, if not this morning. You’ll need to be sharpish. Queue at 9 o’clock this morning was already half way round the North Stand and most people are buying multiple tickets.
He could try e-mailing Ed Jones to ask the question but I suspect he’ll die of old age waiting for a reply!
You lot make me laugh do you not read the local papers

ROBERTO Martinez will seize the opportunity to ring the changes for Saturday’s FA Cup visit of Bournemouth after admitting the festive programme eventually got the better of Wigan Athletic.
Latics concluded their Christmas schedule with a 4-0 thumping by Manchester United on Tuesday, which came just three days after arguably the best performance of the campaign at Aston Villa.
Four games in the space of 11 days was always going to test one of the smallest squads in the Premier League – particularly with injuries and illness also biting.
And the Wigan boss hopes some players who haven’t been starting of late will be looking at the visit of the Cherries as their chance to play their way into his thinking.
“The players are all approaching this run of games with a very positive attitude and they want to make an impact to help the team,” Martinez acknowledged.
“Ronnie (Stam), Jordi (Gomez) and Callum (McManaman) all showed good signs when they came on against United.
“But overall it was too much to ask of the squad to compete over 90 minutes with a United team full of quality and, more significantly, fresh legs.
“We have been able to take the opportunity to freshen our midfield combination up in the last week.
“James McArthur was rested at Aston Villa and David Jones was given a break on Tuesday because he was suffering with a virus and had to take antibiotics.
“We needed to share the demands of that midfield partnership, and over the next few weeks hopefully we can keep refreshing players in a big point in our season.”
David Jones on antibiotics because of a virus?
Telling us a little porky there Roberto? It’s quite bizarre how you remember some games and others not at all. This Bournemouth game falls into the not at all category even though I must have been there. You would think the threat that the game might not finish because of snow would etch it into the memory for ever. Now the trip to Southampton I do remember with some degree of clarity.
