OK, thank’s for that. I think you’ve answered my question.
Has Martinez actually said, out of his own mouth, that he will be the Wigan Athletic manager next season or, is it something that Whelan has said, or just speculation because he’s no longer being considered by Liverpool?
DW and Bobby had meeting in jersey today,Bobby turned job at kopshites down,
he pleged his future with wigan which in turn DW said money will be made available for players
A meeting in Jersey? Wrightington Country Club not good enough these days?
I take it that what you have stated above is only what had been reported by the media?- Martinez flies out to miami from Barbados to speak met with Liverpool ownersNo wonder they can’t come to any kind of conclusion if they’re speaking in met. Try English, or Spanish even. That should do the trick.
are you dave whelans love child ?
Why, were you looking forward to having a brother? ;)
A bit of jealousy rearing it’s head there, I think! This board is riddled with conspiracy theorists!
like i said before
whelan seems to be trying his best to big bobby up and get rid
is it because he couldn’t sack him because bob showed loyalty by staying last year
but now is the chance to get rid in a more decent wayOK, I’ll ask the obvious then.
Why would he want to get rid of him?
I must say i cant stand the way that Bobby is pimping himself out to all and sundry almost rubbing our clubs face in it on a daily basis. How long does it take to meet a bloke and decide if you want a new job?
I bet you believed all those “Lancaster Bommber on Moon” stories that The Sport used to peddle, didn’t you? Used to think you were quite bright, must be getting you mixed up with someone else.
are you telling me lancaster bomber story is a lie ?
next you will be saying their is no father christmass
Yes, and Freddie Starr didn’t eat anybody’s hamster, either.
The “Lancaster Bomber on Moon” story is definitely a hoax but there is most certainly a London double-decker bus there. They run on a different guage in Spain so he’d be useless over here. I’d tell him to stay where he is.
I wonder if the ‘contact’ in the article is the one drip-feeding these snippets to different areas of the media? It keeps Wigan and Martinez in the papers, and, what timing it would be for news that Martinez has turned down Liverpool, Villa and WBA right in the middle of people receiving season ticket mailers.
Like Retiredfan says, this now has publicity stunt written all over it.
Agreed. And it’s good that we are keeping up with the Jones’s, media-wise, these days
;)No, it’s Bobby alright. The shoes give it away.
Bobby is in miami now……It’s just one of his many vices, to go to Miami.
One post on Facebook, from a Liverpool supporting friend (from the very, very north west of England, not Liverpool) read:
Roberto Martinez? Sweet baby Jesus! Is this how far we’ve sunk?..,….
Would his nickname be that of a search engine?
Would his first name be that of a tank engine ? :)
Percy?
No, Hiro !! ;)
Hiro wasn’t a tank engine. Come on Fil, get with the programme, mate!!
Perhaps his name is Jinty?Let’s see if that gets a response.
he is in the carribean
No, he went of his own accord
You do know that some people will struggle to get that one, Griff?
I heard he was going to spend a few days in Venezuela.
He must be crackers.Have you got a linky thing ?Another site reckons he’s on his way to Boston for a second meeting.
Here’s a revelation for you and I hope you are sat down when you read this:
“The media make things up”.Back to the top with this thread so Hindley doesn’t miss it.
If you do meet up make sure someone films the bout and bangs it on here, we could have a fight night special. It should be billed as Mr Hutchinson v Basil Fawlty.
