Nah. Every side that wins plays 442. Its the future.

20 odd games lost by the odd goal

20 games without scoring a goal

      Oh and relegated

One up top at its finest[/quote]

We played 2 up top in some of those. The problem was we were awful going forward regardless of how many we had up top.

They pretty much had free reign with Haworth as the target man. That was our best football for me and I’d have liked to have seen Mathias take it on in 99/00. Didn’t turn out too bad in the end.

Our problem with 1 up top is that the wide players and centre mids don’t help the striker enough and it leaves him like a fish out of water.

Would Bogle make a good Lee McCulloch mark 2? Shove him wide and use his strength and pace there to free space up for Grigg and offer an outlet at the back post.

Is that the same Barlow and Haworth who played as part of a 4-3-3?

Not sure what can be done. You can’t deport UK citizens so that rules that out and they still remain a threat just not to us directly. Prisons are over crowded as it is. The death penaltyĺ wouldn’t really bother a suicide bomber and that would only incite a reaction. It’s a tough one.

I don’t really care about politics. All as bent as one another, but how do you know they are asylum seekers?

Yes he did but in this case it wouldn’t have made a difference as his passport doesnt say he went there.

Egg, I’m talking about travelling to and from the UK. Once you get into France either by train or ferry you can visit many different countries without further use of your passport and its a joke. If the Syrian/ Turkish border is anything like it is in Europe then its easy to see how he can move around undetected. Maybe its time to close all borders again. Whatever it takes something has to be done before the next atrocity claims more innocent people.

The point there though is that once he then arrives in the UK from Germany for example; then he is a UK citizen with no suspicious travel so we can’t stop him.

                        Sure it is that easy?

Turkish security officials say they have no record of the Manchester bomber, Salman Abedi, entering Syria, Reuters reports.

It quotes an official as saying:

There is flight traffic before his arrival to Europe. He travels first to Europe, then to a third country and then to Istanbul and back to Europe.

He said the “third country” was not Syria.

He has not spent any time in Turkey (and) he has not had an entry or exit from Syria during his travels, there is no such information in his records.

Of course, that does not preclude Abedi having gone to Syria illegally, as many do, although there is no evidence of that. The French interior minister previously said that Abedi “probably” travelled to Syria before rowing back from the assertion.

German authorities confirmed today that he flew to Düsseldorf four days before the arena attack.

Just find other ways to get here via France and that.

                          Then there’s that.

I’ve read it. The point is you can’t stop a UK citizen entering the UK.

Yes you can arrest them on suspicion of something (which you would then need to prove and can yiu really arrest 200+ people) but you can’t deport them anywhere as they are UK CITIZENS.

Stop people going there maybe but some people have family there and are genuine.

“Known to police” is such a blanket statement though that just means they have you on file for something. A simple speeding ticket will do that.

IF they are known to be on terror watch lists then yes there needs to be questioned asked but as with anything, what the media say and what is true are totally different things especially when it isn’t even our media reporting it.

EDIT – Turns out we have confirmed it
