I wouldnt throw the towel in just yet Mutt lad you could easily win the play offs and from a Latics point of view it would be better if you did. If we stay up and it’s still very much if it will be easier without the Mackams next season with the spending and pulling power of Sunderland if this new owner you have splashes the cash. I’ve never had a problem with Sunderland they are a great club and they piss the barcodes off which is a bonus.They was on a long unbeaten run before the last 3 so no reason they cant go on another.
Sunderland don’t bother me as a club, but they’re another one of those “we get 30,000 fans so should be in the PL winning trophies” clubs. Little bit like their neighbours really.

33.5 List of Players to be handed to Referee. A representative of each Club must hand copies of a list of names of Players taking part in the game (including the name of the nominated substitute or substitutes) (‘Team Sheet’) to the Referee and a representative of the opponents in the presence of the Referee in the Referee’s dressing room at least 75 (seventy five) minutes before the advertised time of kick-off. The Team Sheet shall indicate the full names of Players and shall indicate the colour of the Goalkeeper’s shirt. Neither Club shall publish the teams or otherwise provide details of the teams to any third party (other than League appointed broadcast partners) until 60 (sixty) minutes before the advertised time of kick-off.

Perhaps your team was leaked on the same social media page that bullitt saw our team? Maybe we had two team sheets and handed in the one with Lang playing when we caught a glimpse of the one you handed in? The old switcheroo. Maybe we asked if we could change last minute and your team agreed because we posed “no problem at all”. Who knows?

It’s one of those. Any player that isn’t in the 11 you want to be “upset” but at the same time you want them to understand that is what is best for the team that counts. Some players would spit their dummies and sulk. Seeing how players have played when they have come in after being left out, I don’t think we have that issue.

We’ve just beaten 2 good sides, dragged ourselves out the bottom 4 and still some fans are having a moan. Unbelievable.
I don’t believe there has ever been an issue with commitment. Ability, skill levels and performance on occasions yes, but never have I felt they haven’t tried.
Agree. I’ve never thought we’ve lost a game this season because we didn’t care/try.
You’re right, we have fans like that who believe we have a devine right to win every game at this level. People were questioning the commitment of our lads a few weeks ago don’t forget.
I do enjoy listening to fans complain when they lose to Little Wigan though

We beat them away with a probably lower quality side so anything is possible.
I do think they will win the game so it will indeed come down to the 3 games between. We need at least 7 points from those to have a chance.
