Kipre is better than Dunkley.
Naismith was superb.
We were shite. Now confirmed that Mulgrew signed, but reading Rovers message boards even before he has moved is not confidence filling.Always the case. All of a sudden he’s no good once he leaves.
Can’t see him being first choice but will add that bit of experience again that we need.
We were laughing our bollocks off on Saturday, at the state of the Worriers ‘shop’ by way of a trailer on the arena car park. “Gypsy Joe’s Bazaar”
Only there until they finish building the new shop and bar in the arena
When are you moving in there to play your matches?
They just need to widen and reinforce the seats

Vat, I’m really sorry to disagree with you. But what in your opinion constitutes as a big club. You raise some points in your post, but we are far from a big club. We’re not even close to being a big club and as for the 13k home attendance there were probably 9,000 home fans tops.
Didn’t see any of that in the article. They refer to us as a small club who will see Cardiff as a scalp. I’d say that’s pretty much bob on. We’re a small club and they are favourites to go up.

Personally I never listen to transfer rumours. They are usually created by the players agent to get a better deal out of their current club or to put their player in the shop window. Wait until things are announced properly.
We will sign 1 or 2 players I’m sure and it will probably be late next week when we do just before the window shuts. Personally, provided we don’t lose anyone I think we will be ok but would of course prefer a signing or 2. Going off pre season, we hsve no number 9 yet so I expect someone to come in up top.
We need to keep Fox fit
What kills me is, how some people are totally convinced the Young’s aren’t ready ?.By “some people” do you mean fans on social media, or the manager, his assistants, the youth coaches and everyone else involved in the coaching/training/player monitoring side of the club?
As I’ve said, I would love us to promote the youth but at the same time I don’t want it to blow up in our faces as it usually does. United in 1995 was a freak occurrence hence why it is still talked about. Usually the majority of young squads with a group of kids gets its arse handed to it.
Bringing in 1 or 2 of them this season will be fantastic, but bringing in all 5/6 of the ones on the cusp of the first team could be suicidal.
I have no issues with playing the kids but not all at once. They need some experienced players in and around them. I would be quite happy to see Garner lead the line with Lang as his replacement, but if he is still a little green then this level of football would highlight that much quicker than lower divisions and could be a negative thing for his career. Of course it could work the other way and he embraces it and becomes a superstar. As I’ve said many times before I’m not sure if we as a club can afford to take that risk but I certainly wouldn’t be against it if we decided we could. Obviously as a rugby fan I’ve seen the evidence of what a solid youth setup can achieve.
It’s a good position to be in in terms of having a strong academy and it will only stand us in good stead going forward.
Friendly or not, it’s ridiculous
Thought it was a half decent game at times but slipped into pre-season mode quite a bit. Windass backing out of that challenge in the first half hopefully being “pre-season mode”
On another subject…..why do we insist on letting visiting fans in the home end? We opened two stands for Everton fans and they were still all wandering around the West Stand.
I’m sure an expert once said “You cant win anything with kids”No mate, it was Alan Hansen
