There was one numpty near us in the East Stand stood up, red in the face, giving Windass a mouthful when this happened for not taking them on.

At the start of the season we had pace, power, creativity and sharpness in front of goal. The overwhelming majority of those qualities were given to us by 4 players who were all absent yesterday.

Imagine if those 4 had played yesterday and Leeds had Roofe, Hernandez, Klich and one of their other attacking players missing yesterday. They are a big enough club to carry a bigger, more quality squad than we are, but even they would struggle with that level of unavailable attacking ability.

The truth is, a club of our size can’t afford to have 2 players for every position in this league, so when we do get hit by a glut of injuries we are bound to struggle. We have to mix and match. Admittedly, Cook has made mistakes, and how he can justify playing Naismith, no matter how many injuries we have I don’t know.

Our 1st eleven is very strong. At the start of the season people were tipping us as play off possibilities. Pundits, other teams players. Other clubs managers. Not the so called Happy Clapping Rose Tinted Brigade, but neutrals who know their stuff. We’ve been really unlucky with injuries and it’s been the cause of our recent run. With our lack of resources we were never going to be able to replace all those players with like for like.

So who will play in defensive midfield with Morsy? Or is the Pillock available who was sent off at Preston?
Let’s wait and see. Could we sign that Power from Sunderland on an emergency loan?

Is this the same ‘pillock’ you were praising after the game against Sheffield Wednesday? You are the most fickle supporter I have ever come across. Full of praise when Wigan win and sticking the book in when they lose. A bit like Wigan at the moment I suppose, very inconsistent.
Oh back in the first game of the season. Lets recall, mmmmm no not me I wasn’t praising him. I have been pretty consistent about this signing. Would much rather have kept Power or Perkins who can play week in week out rather than this fella who struggles to play a handful of games a season for anyone he has ever played for.
Poor signing like McMannaman and Vaughan. Sunderland fans must be pissing there selves laughing offloading their wages to us.
The same Power who struggled last time in the Championship, and who’s already been sent off twice for Sunderland and missed half their matches this season?

And the same Perkins who looked knackered last season in League One and who’s only managed 4 appearances for Rochdale this season?
Rwgarding Power, have you ever heard about players that improve with age and playing against better oppostion ?.

And as for “Sheffield Utd see us as more of a threat than Millwall” quote.. thats got to be about the the most bellend remark anyone’s said on here for a good while.

Was you on Tramadol Tuesday night or did you have you forget to take your rose tinted 3D specs off ?.

I bet that’s the first thing Chelsea and Everton with Robinson and James. Get a clause in incase we get them in the Cup.
Threat lol, classic
Let’s see if you can argue your case without using either of the words “tinted” or “rose”. If they saw Millwall as more of a threat than us then they’d have let Evans play this week and stopped the Millwall mon. What other explanation can there be? But I’m sure you’ll make one up.

If you managed to watch the Sheffield Wednesday game and failed to admit that Gibson was as good as anybody on the pitch then your vision is as narrow as your vocabulary.

Cook fecks around with winning formula..if we win and rested key players its another astute managerial decision. Unfortunately for 5th consecutive away game its a f””” up….Naismith,Connolly selected Macmanaman out in cold Vaughan leading the line….piss poor.Excuses from some posters will come thick and fast but yet another away let down.

And the moans will flow in from the fickle fans like you until our next win. All teams are hard to beat at home just look at our home record. Does Cook become a bad Manager every fortnight?
I’ll wait to hear from you at about 4:50pm Satdy unless of course we win.
You’ll hear me Saturday at 16:50 with an opinion pal either way, play well I’ll praise, get stuffed I’ll slate unlike yourself who’ll be pumping up your clappers and bowing to your Paul Cook poster and rose tinted glasses on to boot regardless of the score.
Grow some testies pal and slate when it’s due
Yet you failed to comment on the post match WBA thread! What a surprise.

What ??? The club dropped a large one so where’s the boot ?.
Another fookin rose tinted glasses.
Sheffield Utd allowed Ryan Leonard to play who’s on a similar loan with a view to buy

No boot there pal, we fooked up period. Sometimes the club get it wrong you know. We’ll see Saturday if it affects us.

There you have it. Sheffield Utd allowed Leonard to play, but not Evans. Therefore not our decision. It’s pretty obvious Sheff U see us as more of a threat that Millwall, so take it as a compliment. No rose tinted specs here. Very clear vision thanks.

Can you imagine how many people would be tripping over their bottom lip if Powell did his hamstring again.

I find it really odd how some people will find any reason they can to stick the boot intp the club they support.

I don’t have a clue how businesses are run and I may have got the wrong end of the stick, but after a quick skim through, before my brain started hurting too much, I think it’s safe to say we won’t be spending fortunes on new players.

Now whether that means we also won’t be giving big pay rises to our current squad I have no idea, but it looks like the focus will be on developing youth.

In his first few appearances Gibson concentrated on playing the simple ball in order to get things moving. Last night he was just going for the killer ball most of the time and seemed in a rush to get attacks going.

Why are you so bothered about him? It makes you as petty and small minded as him.

We’d sold over 1700 on Monday, meaning we had just short of 3 weeks to sell the remaining 1300. Why the flap?

I also believe he’ll stay, but how long for is open to debate. I think he indicated he was willing to sign again if the takeover went through so it’s obviously partly about money, but not exclusively so. Let’s face it, even after the takeover he could probably command a higher salary than we will be able to pay him.

But if he decides he’s going to run his contract down, it doesn’t matter if we are offered £5m or £50m.
