I think he is likely to come out of hiding once the lawyers have sorted it out!
I think he’s hiding in a Budhist temple in the Himalayas praying for a move to Latics ;)
I agree that we should at least try 4-4-2 with the players we have got and see how we get on, but has Bobby ever looked like deviating from his current system?
Where’s your confirmation? Stories about this morning indicate Bolton are renewing their interest in trying to get him.
You are right, it does leave four my maths is crap!
I think we created plenty of chances last season, we just didn’t take them, that’s why we bought Boselli.
We are far too open at the moment which is why I think we should play too holding players.
Besides it would also give a bit more protection if our full backs bomb forward.
Said he’d love to sign him but not at the price we want.
He’s said exactly the same thing about Bellamy. He’s trying it on to get his targets on the cheap the old potato bent nose!
Is anyone really that surprised N’Zogbia has handed in a transfer request?
He was quoted weeks ago saying that we would let him go if a suitable bid came in. He’s now forcing the issue. It was only going to be a matter of time.
Of course this is linked to Sunderland selling Jones and you can see quite clearly from Bruce’s comments that he’s trying to force us into accepting a lower bid.
Well quite frankly we should grant his transfer request but make him sweat while we start a bidding war. If no one matches our valuation he can play with us until someone does.
He wouldn’t do himself any favours by sulking and not putting in all in, after all this wouldn’t help his new career with Les Bleus, which he wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for us.
I’d have Moses any day over N’Zog as you know the young lad is going to give it 100% every game. Besides he’s more talented in my book – he can play with both feet.
If N’Zog goes it should be on our terms and in keeping with our policy of taking a chance of players, letting them shine and then selling them on for a profit.
He should also not forget that is Martinez who has transformed him from left-sided utility player who was regarded as something of a full-back to the Premier League’s best dribbler (according to Opta).
Sorry Griff, I posted Angel instead of Rangel – I’ve corrected my error!
But yes the guy at Swansea is also a Rangel. Must be the Spanish equivalent of Smith
We’re not all miserable living down here. We don’t have the best pies but I would have to say that the weather is better!
You say there aren’t loads of us, but there’s a two-year-old Tic in our household even though he doesn’t quite understand football loyalty yet
How very dare you!
I agree £1m doesn’t sound like a lot, but from what I’ve read it appears he said he didn’t want to play for us anymore and is in the final year of his contract.
Bramble’s inability to play the 50-yard diagonal ball appears to have been his undoing. That and the fact he was very clumsy when caught out in possession.
I would imagine he wasn’t going to be first choice and there’s no point having a big earner as a bench warmer.
I don’t think we’ll be anywhere near as bad defensively this season (we couldn’t get much worse!). Alcaraz looks just as good in the air as Bramble and what with him and OAP-legs Melchiot having departed we might see a more dynamic back four.
I think the signs are very positive when you look at all the young talent we have – Diame, McCarthy, Moses, McArthur on the way, Boselli, Rodders and N’Zog (at least probably until Jan) we could be the surprise package this year. ;)
20 July 2010 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Transfer news, paper talk, who you want – get it all in here #40423Another player who represents the French company Group is Jess Motagua defender Emilio Izaguirre, who is also seeking to locate in Europe this year.
“We hope so, because they have told us that he wants the Wigan and is important because with the departure of Maynor may come Emilio. Because that will take a left Wigan and are interested, “said the motagüense.
The employer explained that the future of the player is in England or France, where one can locate. It is an important point for Wigan, remember that Emilio did not play the final game with the national team, you have to study if you need special permission to play in the Premier, does not meet the caps, “said French.
Apart from Wigan is considering an option of another team to locate Premier Milo, and proposals have come from the Iberian peninsula is not yet official.
“Two teams of England and Spanish, but for us the priority of placing Emilio is the Premier League, there are also interests in France and Spain,” said Jean.
“You can go to a team in Spain, but I need to remedy the situation next week. I’ve talked to people Motagua, with Atala talk much, calmly work because in the case of Europe is very slow, “closed the contractor seeks to place the Hondurans in Europe.
15 June 2010 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Boselli to undergo medical next Monday after Bugs said “Si” #37446That’s the trouble though when you have two clubs who own a player.
To be honest, I’m surprised it has happened this quickly although I suspect the two clubs have been holding out for a higher offer that hasn’t materialised.
The complicated nature of this transfer has probably scared a lot of teams off and our perseverance appears to have won the day. But there’s still time for it all to go wrong :o
According to this report Students and Boca have both given our offer the thumbs up…………
Finally is aimed transfer to Wigan striker Mauro Boselli, England, which offered $ 9,000,000 by the scorer of the last Clausura. Both Boca and Estudiantes, who share his move, accepted the offer from English club.
It was learned, for this operation to him would be $ 3,500,000 La Plata, and to replace him have begun a push to reinstate Ernesto Farías, current player of Porto, Portugal. (Télam). -
