Would have been great to play Seville on a Thursday then Forest away Sunday. Glad we got knocked out. Went to all games. Thoroughly enjoyed em all but was a relief to go out when we did as the team was struggling to cope with all the fixtures. We won one game out of six. Facts are we werent good enough. Move on.
Why didn’t we ask for full allocation? Other teams got over 6k but we go for the minimum as usual. Am sure we could have taken more given the chance!
With clubs like Cardiff and Leicester willing to go into such debt to get in the top division the only way i can see us having the finance to return will be in the next two seasons. The financial advantage that parachute payments make is huge and those that have previously been in the premier league or are prepared to break FFP rules through a wealthy owner have a tremendous advantage. Whether its really worth it when you reach the promised land is a whole different discussion!
You surely cant win Manager of the year for relegating a team! Though winning at Everton and beating City were impressive results am afraid they dont paper over the cracks!
No. Just dropped in at 5 o clock on off chance. BBC were filming so think we just fell lucky. Unfortunately kids dont appreciate how lucky they are as they think we go to Wembley every year but am sure in time it will dawn on them how lucky they have been over the last 12 months (as im sure most of us already know).
Took my boys down to the ground yesterday and couldnt believe what the club did for them. Within two minutes of arriving the cup was out the cabinet and my 6 and 7 year old were out on the pitch dancing around with the cup Thanks to the club officials. The club gets bad press by many on here but i cant think of another club who would have been so kind with the kids. On the way back through they let us into the changing rooms and gave the lads an experience they will never forget. Thanks go to everyone at the club for making three lads dreams a reality.
Guess for these players that wont sign a contract its a risk they take. For me he isnt one of our best midfielders but has seldom let the side down.
As you say Mutty you deal in facts! Facts are even with your 15918 home fans that’s still less of a home crowd % than we have managed! You must feel a little ashamed as you were on here a few weeks ago gloating at our attendance versus MK Dons saying it was pathetic none of us fans were interested then you pull a smaller crowd against one of the top teams in the country in the last 16. Priceless!
Southampton took a thousand so just over 15000 home fans. Lets get the calculators out. You hammered us for the % of home fans attending our previous games yet youve gone and managed the worst yet! Im not interested in excuses. Facts are your supports pathetic for a club of your alleged size and your success aint much better!
At 1.9 points per game we would be 4th under Roslers tally. Hes made a solid start given what came before him. Still think we will struggle to make the top 6 without a settled side in place but happy to be proved wrong!

For various reasons. Wigan hockeys supporters dont come on here having a go, Wigan hockey dont have twenty stone mongs writhing in ecstasy in other mens groins on our pitch and in the process wrecking it for months on end. If Wigan Hockey start using our ground then come on here having a go am sure they will get similar treatment!
