That article is a rehash of shitte that has been put out with the new addition of friday purely on the basis that it’s the day after the deadline set by DW.

he will go though – it’s to big an opportunity.

        Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

gamble but i he is an intellegent man and i don’t see anyone else around that will continue to develop what Bobby has started to build.

he undoubtedly wants to get back in to the Manure set up as he progresses so what better place than a local club.

Phillips and Ince(both are bloody awesome players!) of Blackpool look very good shouts for me rather than Johnson.I cant stand the swine as he always scores against us-good player but i prefer the current ‘rough diamond’ policy that the club has adopted in recent times and who can say this hasnt paid off?Who as a supporter hasnt been chuffed to see Mcarthur Maloney,Moses,Mccarthy come good this year and for combined fees of under £5 million-hell knows what they are all worth combined now?
Younger players are hungrier than ageing ones like Johnson and i think their are rich pickings in the lower divisions if the scouting network is good enough.

I was impressed by both Phillips and Ince, more so with Phillips and thought the same – If Blackpool don’t beat WHU we should go for one of them.
We seem to be developing a good relationship with Blackpool on the loan front so whilst i would rather see Blackpool win, it may be better for us if they stay down so we can still use them to help us develop our up and coming stars.

            Why?

He didn’t want to come to us from Everton and then he refused to come to us in January when we tried to swap him for Rodders.
Clearly he thinks he’s too good for Wigan.

Besides – what’s the point? He’s always injured.

He wont go anywhere yet .. these tossers who interview and throw in the awkward questions need to back off..
Martinez is entitled to chill out and think about his future and unless a top top job comes along he will stay . Hes worked hard and he isnt stupid. A lot of other Chairman would have sacked him after the 8 striaght defeats but Whelan stuck with him and well done for that.
I know that most fans wanted Martinez gone at some stage in the last two years but now look.. we all love him !!

I have never waivered in my love for him (I think Mrs Do has been expecting me coming out of the closet) which is why I am concerned about losing him now. I do acknowledge that I have pessimistic tendancies. I also see that the caption from Dave Whelan saying he would have no problem sacking him was taken out of context and suggested that there was a fall out in March when in fact he was saying he had his full backing, and indeed there may have been some clever editing of the interview but it did raise alarm bells with me.

Hope you’re right – maybe i am paranoid but someone else came in this morning (not a Latics fan) and asked me whether i had seen the interview. His interpretation of the interview was the same as mine.

                  QPR

We have already lost Rovers, if Noblot go down then we won’t have any real local rivals to play – and that removes a lot of the fun in the season.

Mid you, if we can keep up the performances our natural local rivals will be Citeh and Manure, followed by Everton and Liverpool (in order of their relative strength). :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

He did try to introduce this earlier in the season but it wasn’t working. Much as I like Dave Jones he wasn’t a wing back and it was not until Bousojour joined and Maloney reached the level of fitness required that it started to work.

I thought Jordi Gomez did a pretty good impression of a footballer with that pass to Di Santo at the Emirates.

Then there was the 2nd goal.

Frustrating though he is for his failure to get stuck in, you cannot take it away from him that he created 3 points that night.

we really do need to lose the paranoia. If we could fill the stadium (like we did in 05/06) then they would open up these areas and put in extra stewards.

As we don’t why have the extra hassle of policing this area when you don’t need to.

Think about it, as a business you try to keep your costs down, so why incurr more costs of stewards when there are other seats to fill. It ain’t th ecouncil, and it ain’t the premier league. It’s just sensible management.

I also think bolton and QPR will win this weekend and we will all be on 37 pts when Monday night comes. QPR might even be above us on GD.

If that’s the case then rovers will know their fate and hopefully will play like they did against Spurs.

Personally I am torn, i would like to see Bolton go down but then we will miss the local rivalry and thats part of the fun. I would prefer Rovers went down for a number of reasons, 1) that Pedsen goal 2) the need to get rid of those useless owners who have destroyed a small town club and 3) because there has to be something dodgy going on for them to keep a clearly clueless manager.

So hopefully Rovers and QPR – but we have work to do, we certainly cannot take it for granted that we are safe yet.

I hope the pressie comes early but whatever happens it’s going to be an eventful and probably poisonous atmosphere as the mass ranks of rovers fans vent their spliens at Kean and Venky’s.

Stating the obvious – Blackburn is not a happy place – me, whilst i feel sorry for the fans I want my revenge for that cheating Norwegian scumbag who robbed us of 2 points.

Do you not think that Di Santo could be that decent striker? With the service and growing confidence – he could be it – what we need is someone to fill in as a sub or when injured and keep Sammon as the third choice. Sammon has the right work ethic we just need to see if Bobby can polish him up to become a permier league striker (rather than the championship striker he is). Can’t fualt his endeavour though.

Our problem is still going to be the same as before – if there is a decent striker available, then everyone will be after him and given a choice, even if we are prepared to match the pay packet, would they come to Wigan? The reality is that we need to find the rough diamonds and polish them.
