I always get the feeling that he lacks the extra pace needed in the Championship to get into the spaces he finds at Lge1 level
He did fine against Kyle Walker :D
No disrespect to Grigg but Walker had an absolute ‘Mare’ that night! ;)
I see Bullitt has been banned again. I’ve no idea why, and frankly I don’t care. However, it got me wondering as to the banning/reinstatement procedure, which maybe a Mod can explain. If a member is banned, does the mod put a future date on and at that point the ban is automatically lifted? If this is the case, then does the person receiving the ban get told that they are banned for X days/weeks/months and on a certain date their ban will automatically be lifted?
Or do the mods un-ban someone at their discretion, and do they inform the person who is banned that they are now un-banned?
How did you know that he had been banned?

I’ve thought all along it’s being held up so that we don’t get held to ransom over any players we’re looking to sign. New owners with dosh = higher prices/bigger wages.Does that not go with the territory? If this takeover ever comes to fruition then the same will apply come January and so forth !
Buttons are a no no for me on football shirts! Home kit if I do decide to bite the bullet and buy one!
?‘Do you love anyone enough to give them your last Rolo?’ It’s from a tv ad if you’re too young to remember it! ;)
Talk about glass half empty. After scoring a shed load in qualifying we comfortably beat a Sweden team that finished above the Champions Germany in their group after beating a decent Colombia side deservedly followed by a draw against a Croatian side that ripped Argentina to pieces. We have the youngest side is the tournament and have recently won the u20 and u17 world championship. Surely there are reasons to be optimistic! If England drew with Croatia ( They didn’t ) then surely they drew with Colombia! ;)
The French are quietly going about their business and are my tip to do well.
If it were on performances alone, then possibly Croatia should win itIt appears the Klumps supporter was correct. ;)
So you think Croatia will win it or ‘Should’ win it and France will do well! ;)
Reserve team from all accounts.Bobby said he thought his players deserved to go out on a high so I suspect he will choose a fairly strong if not full strength team!
The biggest regret is that it was a missed opportunity. A favourable group draw and then playing the less fancied teams got us to the semi-final against a team we would have chosen to play.
I can’t see the likes of Germany, Brazil, Spain and Argentina being so bad at the next World Cup so even if this England team does develop in the next few years they will face much tougher opposition than was on show in this one.Correct Sammy. They led a very charmed life in Russia, getting to a semi final without meeting a team in the FIFA ranking top 15 apart from Belgium who beat them albeit being a meaningless game! France who are currently ranked 7th would have beat them comfortably in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what the team selections will be for the big 3rd place playoff!
The takeover is proving to be more complicated than Brexit! How long is it now since this takeover came to light?
It truly is remarkable how people on forums know all the private ins and outs of whats going on in a Football club, truly amazingTalking of which! Anyone heard any further news on our takeover or transfer rumours? Season kicks off 3 weeks on Saturday!
Oh Jesus wept, wtf has expelling diplomats got to do with this. Many countries including France did it. Sammy simply made the point that we would be better off playing Croatia and he is right. Up to now there has been no evidence of English people out there being treated any different to the rest and all those who have spoken have had nothing but good to say about their hosts. Anyone who seriously thinks we would have got all the dodgy decisions had we been playing Russia are way off the mark. Lets stick to the point and ignore the James Bond bollox.
I’m with you on this, you may have misconstrued my post! it was Sammy who alluded to the idea of VAR conspiracy not me! I was just saying that England would have been treated no differently than Croatia had they played Russia! I hope this clears things up! ;)
But we seen all too often in this WC var has made some right dodgy decisions fil so yet again in with Sammy on this.
But not biased ones!

I would have thought that the politics surrounding Russia and Croatia would have been more of a hot potato! No dodgy decisions yesterday that I was aware of!
I’m not aware of any particular friction between Russia and Croatia but you are correct in that there was no controversial incidents requiring VAR in that match.
Should it have been Russia against us in the semi any marginal decisions requiring VAR would certainly have been weighted more in their favour, more so than it will be against Croatia.
Wikipedia but true nonetheless! Make of it what you will!
On 26 March 2018, Croatia expelled one Russian diplomat as a show of solidarity with the United Kingdom which accused Russia of poisoning Sergei and Yulia Skripal. In a response, Russia decided to ban chief of staff of the Croatian foreign minister from entering its territory in an official capacity. That Russia’s decision was seen as surprising and a sign that Russia was dissatisfied with Croatia’s decision but that it didn’t want further escalation.[47]
