Can anyone make any sense of this article because I cant !!
I think what he is trying to say is I signed a player with great pedigree, played him up front on his own in the rough and tumble of English football, ruined his confidence then had to send him out on loan to get over the shock.
And people on this web site defend Martinez, the guy is a clown.
Only at Wigan Athletic could someone who defends his own team be dismissed in derogatory terms as a “super fan”. Wrong. It’s what a normal fan does at normal clubs.And just because I question the manager and voice my opinion it makes me less of a fan than you :roll: :roll: :roll:

We go to games and support the club but are not happy with the manager team formation etc. We have opinions sorry that they do not match yours as you are obviously an all knowing super fan.
What gets me is he and Bob come out with the same bullshoite every transfer window. We don’t need to sell, no one will be leaving this transfer window etc.

If Charlie leaves we are loosing one half of our attacking options the other half being Hugo. IMO to sell either or both would guarantee relegation.

If Darren Bent is worth £18 million we have to hold out for top money for Charlie. We can’t keep letting our best players go for buttons, if we do need to sell at least rip off the club thats buying. He is still under contract :roll: :roll: :roll:

Vat I think we all are but I don’t think sacking Bobby is the way forward. Our team without McCarthy, Moses, Cleverley is similar to Liverpool being without Gerrard Torres and Meireles (how bad is the liverpool squad). Only we are Wigan and we don’t have a squad full of world class players waiting in the wings and thinking about it neither do liverpool but you get my point.tini I believe we have a squad capable of staying in the Premier League. My gripe is that the manager has no idea how to play them his tactics stink his team formation is pi$$ poor and the team don’t seem to want to play for him.

For starters I don’t think Sam would be effective here, we do not have the players for his system. But honestly, from what my mate (a bolton fan) and from speaking to blackburn fans, they thought his style of play was horrible. I remember after the game against blackburn last season members on this site where saying thank god we don’t have to watch that week in week out.
I like every other tics fan is getting frustrated, newcastle and fulham at home should have accumulated to 4 points at least and yet we play as poorly as i have seen us and leave with 1 point. We did the same last year and found some big results which kept us in the league. It is not over yet, not by a long shot and I think that some of the fans on this site must remember who Bob is. He is one of us! /he has had to deal with some dreadful injuries/suspensions and we have missed key players in key fixtures. EG: McCarthy has missed most of the season, Moses will be out for up to 3 months, Hugo and Alcaraz both missed the massive game at West Ham. Cleverley was out against Fulham (I think we really missed him by the way.)
Sacking Bob is NOT the way forward. He has restructured our club for the better. He has removed big earners from the wage bill and made the club more financially stable. (Although Boselli has been a flop and the sooner he goes the better to be honest.) He and all the coaches have got all the players at Wigan Athletic playing football, although he is not the manager of the youth team or reserves we have seen a considerable change in results and improvement in the young players which I would put down to Bob and his team.
