Well Duke your contraversial comments will result in a back lash i’m afraid

These deluded young ES2 idiots don’t realise that they can’t even be heard from in the West Stand. While they are fannying about playing drums that can’t be heard and generally embarrassing themselves in front of the much more sophisticated away fans, the West Stand intelligentia gets on with watching the finer points of the game.[/quote]

What is your problem, I don’t think they are embarassing and in all honesty it seems to me that your are envious of them. They are the only people who sing and we would be silent otherwise ( I say they, I sit there myself), now that WOULD be embarassing.

In regards to the post, Technically I would say our ‘support’ is great, but the lack of it is the problem.

The two polish kids tried to go on loan somewhere, but it didn’t fall through. At the momemnt, there in the reserves earning £8k a week EACH.

If it didn’t fall through does that mean they are out on loan then ;)
Oh and Minerva…. Your post actually made me think of William Shatner :D :D

Im betting on one of the following after a 4-0 drubbing –

            a) The Notts County Desfeat really deflated them, but this is a turning point……

            b) Fair play to Steve Bruce, he had a point to prove, but this is a turning point……

            c) The new players did well sitting on the bench until the 80th minute, then when we where 4 down, i could see that all the hard work Scotland had been doing had taken its toll, so i took him off, but this is a turning point…..

Until Bob stops playing Scotland, Gomez and that cack formation we will continue to be a bobbins side.

Brilliant and very stupid prediction, 4-0 drubbing vs sunderland, get a grip. Also I cant remember the last time martinez said ‘this is a turning point’.

              Good point.

Would have settled for it before the game.

Settled for a point vs the off form team of the league, nice. Pessimists.

If and this a big if DW sell out to someone else will the stadium stay in the ownership of welco or would it be in the ownership of the new owners ?

The problem with the pitch was caused by Wigan Athletic training on it during the bad weather when they were unable to use their own training facilities.

Haha you must not be very clever. Made me laugh that comment  is that why it’s the same every year even though they dont train on it every year haha.. Actually can’t stop laughing at that stupid comment

When everyone’s fit I think we should play

                    —————-Kirkland————–
                    Boyce—Bramble—Caldwell–Figueroa

                    Moses—-Diame—-Thomas—N’Zogbia

                    ————Hugo—-Moreno (providing he’s good)

I prefer the 4-4-2 to the 4-2-3-1 that Bobby’s used this season. I can’t see him changing it though, so I think our best team for that formation is…

                    —————-Kirkland————–
                    Boyce—Bramble—Caldwell–Figueroa

                    ————Diame—-Thomas——-
                    Moses———Koumas——N’Zogbia

                    ——————Hugo—————-

Where has Koumas come from in the last possible formation? Everybody was saying get rid of him not long back, I personally like him and think he can play a part.

Look at what I said James where did I say scores goals for fun, I said he beat players for fun…tool!

First of all, N’zogbia’s left peg has bi ears. Secondly, You got beef tini? I aint no tool G. By the way 11 in 85 I was actually told, but the figure is around that number.

They wern’t cheap when i took my son last season against Aresnal £20 for a ten year old isn’t cheap

I bet other teams charge more than £20 for a ten year old vs arsenal, In comparison I think it’s quite cheap, but I do agree that a ten year old shouldn’t have to have £20 paid for him to get in. I have no problem paying the prices we charge for St’s (to be more precise) :)

I think this signing is one of the best we have made as a club. He fits perfectly into our system with him on the left, nzogbia on the right Hugo up top And McCarthy just behind. I have watched a few palace games and from what I’ve seen, he’s a worker, beats players for fun and can score goals. Just what we have been missing now we have threats down both wings. Our team is lookng good for the future with alot of the players still young.
Yes I think he played against city

Who asked you tini ;) , get a grip haha :P … Don’t know about scores goals for fun, he has scored 11 in 85. Good player though, lets hope he makes the grade :) :)

No,Jemmy, he means that the first 5000 get a cheap(er) ticket than say the next 5000, then when the next 2000 are sold the first 5000 get a portion back, but not as much as the second 5000. When another 5000 are sold the first 5000 get some more back as do the second 5000, but not as much again as the first lot and then the third 5000 get a little bit back, lets say £20, then when the 4th 5000 are sold there will be nowt left to give back so everyone gets a free pie.
                            Simple

can’t possibly be right that people get cheaper tickets than others, that doesn’t seem like anything that would happen. I think the season tickets are cheap enough as it is and have no problem paying what I do anyway to be honest, they’re cheap

I think we’d be better copying Bradford/Huddersfield and say season ticket prices depend on how many are sold by a fixed date. So if we sold 20,000 for example we could have them for say £150, the price rising as the numbers sold reduces. In these places these schemes have worked a treat, created a buzz and increased crowds massively

How would that work exactly, not questioning you just trying to understand. Do you mean the first ‘however’ many, pay more than the people who get it later? Or you all pay on that set date for the ticket, or you get some money back when that date has come if you have paid more for your ticket due to getting it earlier (if the prices have decreased)?

I would prefer us to play 2 up front with moreno playing but cant see this happening and dont think McCarthy or Charluie deserved to be dropped

I agree, but if there was any way we could play Moreno I think Thomas is easily droppable and should be the one to be on the bench in his place. :)

                                  I thought he was Bolivian??

Exactly, the first ‘foreigner’ to be part of it, he chose to play for the Bolivian senior team though.
