An Australian guy is travelling around the Greek Islands . He walks into a bar and, by chance, is served by an Australian barmaid. As she takes his order,
a Foster’s, she notices his accent. Over the course of the evening they get chatting. At the end of her shift he asks if she wants to come back to his
place.Although she is attracted to him she says no. He then offers to pay her $200 to sleep with him.
As she is travelling around the world, and is short of funds, she agrees.
The next night the guy turns up again. Again he orders Fosters and after showing her plenty of attention, asks if she will sleep with him again for $200.
She remembers the payout from night before and is only too happy to agree.This goes on for 5 nights. On the 6th night the guy comes in again, orders Fosters but goes and sits in the corner. The barmaid thinks that if she pays
him more attention then, maybe she can shake some more cash out of him. So she goes over and sits next to him.She asks him where he’s from in Australia …

‘So am I. What suburb?’ she enquires.
‘Glen Iris’ he replies.
‘That’s amazing,’ she says excitedly, ‘so am I – what street?’
‘ Cameo Street ‘ he replies.
‘This is unbelievable………’ she says, her voice quavering;
‘What number?’
‘Number 20’, he replies.
She is totally astonished. ‘You are NOT going to believe this,’ she screams, ‘but I’m from number 22! My parents still live there!’

Did you know that Australians don’t even drink Fosters much? Isn’t even one of the commercial beers over there. Most of them don’t even like it apparently. One of them sa (and quote) ‘Every time I’ve been to a bar someone has asked me why I’m not drinking Foster’s – isn’t it Australian for beer? I sigh, and then inform them that Down Under we’d rather drink water – and that speaks volumes.’

this sort of post winds me up, why dont you just post the main bits of the article to save us all having to go to the link then back again to the message board!!!!!!!!!Would make it easier. When there’s a thread like this just click on it with the scroll on your mouse and it opens the link up up in another window and leaves the message board open, then just close the link when you have finished. Bit easier I suppose if you prefer it that way :)

Oh and Yosser, Im not obsessed with him, in fact every thread I post he has a dig and it is taken lightly. On Weiss, I have only seen him play for about 5 minutes so I wouldn’t know if he’s any good or not. Alex_Wigan and JamesC are our inside-track transfer double-act.
Why is my name coming into this? Alex tries to predict things, I never have, all I have done is commented on people I wouldn’t mind coming here (after people have said their names), and said Weiss ‘looks’ good, not that he is.
Right, Ok. I’ve watched it again, and some other clips.Some of it sounds………very good. Some Kinks/Stones in there, I think.
Some of it sounds……….a mess. Just out of tune and out of sync.
Instrumentalists………sound fine, mostly. Some parts need brushing up.
I think the main problem for me is the female vocalist. It just doesn’t work. I don’t know the relationship between the band members, but I’d definitely look at having her as a percussionist and ‘backing vocalist’, rather than THE vocalist. She just sounds like she’s wailing, and really is out of image with the others. I’d say that one of the lads should do all main vocals. (The guitarist?) and if he feels like he’s not good enough, they need to recruit a strong vocalist, in a similar image to themselves.
Honestly, if they do that, and also tighten up the melodic structure of their songs, I think they’d be a lot better, and have more success.

Both say they are excited about the possibility of a few signings that will/may be completed before the end of January. One of which is a striker believed to be Aduriz as reports suggest Roberto is currently in Spain finalising a deal for the striker.Whelan has said Roberto has got a few exciting signings lined up but priority is with a striker (Aduriz if reports are correct). I am excited myself as I think we could possibly see a new winger (maybe Moses) + a new central mid to play off the strikers (maybe Britton) + Aduriz which looks to be a done deal + possibly Kris Boyd from Rangers although it’s gone quite quiet on that front.
It’s all exciting stuff!
Good post mystic meg. Would love to see that Aduriz come here, not seen much of him (few spanish league games and youtube) but it’s a striker nontheless. Cant agree with where you say ‘maybe moses’ as I think thats way out of our reach. You mention Britton but we dont want another swansea player because of what has happened with Gomez and Scotland (though I do think Gomez is/will be good enough). And as the other guy said before, Were not getting Boyd which also is probably be a good thing.
Maybe I’m getting old, but that just sounds like a load of reverb and noise to me.What’s the point in that Mama Cass effort in the middle?
