The Metro runs right past the ground with a choice of two stops. Catch it from Newcastle (20 mins away) and save yourself the hassle of trying to drive amongst 35-40,000 people all trying to get away from the same place at the same time.

Its all well and good saying “only” 62% of the Warriors ST holders have a WN postcode compared to the massive 78% that are ST Holders for the latics.

In the interest of fairness, why dont you put a poll up asking “Do you go and watch Wigan Warriors too”? with a straight “Yes” and “No” answer button, and one log-in one vote, so it cant be fiddled. No manipulating, no extra optins, just a straight YES or NO.
Then see if:
a. The ratio of no to yes is 9:1, like it is on C&W.
b. More people on here bother to vote (so far 100 have cast their vote on C&W).

Thanks for that info about Arsenal ladies and how they were formed. I know what it is now – the article I watched was saying that only a certain number of players can earn (I think) > £20,000 per year (!), which has led to a dilution of the top players around all the sides that make up this league, rather than a couple of sides having all the top players and winning everything in sight.
I still maintain the bird that was being interviewed was fugly!
There was some Arsenal bird on TV yesterday being interviewed about this league. I say “bird” because I suspect she was not male.

The game on Saturday is massive. Lose and Wigan will be at least 4 points from 17th place, and realistically 5 when you consider the goal difference.
Birmingham have a game against Sunderland, who have lost 7 of their last 8 games, and with Villa winning yesterday it would mean that Blackburn would be the closest, assuming they lose at Everton.I dont think even ‘arry will be dipping into his brown paper bag full of used notes for a bet on Spurs to qualify!
