Once the sale is completed and finalised and sighs of relief are belted out then the fund if possible could be put to really good use if it is allowable.
One idea could be to buy the old Sharpeys chippy ( assuming it is being sold separately) and turn it into a suporters club facility , something we havent had since the SP days really bar token use of DW stadium bars.
The rest of the money could be put to good use turning it into a proper facility that would be able to hold community projects etc using the facilities and would also be a fitting tribute to the efforts of all the supporters and ex players who helped contribute.That’s a great idea Vince.

Even against Ipswich I was impressed with odd bits. A shrewd bit off business getting Danny Fox back. He can help steady things up at the back. But that was a great win today. I do hope a buyer can see the potential.

I’ve heard that Smurthwaite is a friend of the administrators. I hope they havent given the nod to him from what I’ve heard about him.
I cannot believe nobody will make an offer. The club is up for virtually nowt and yet nobody seems really interested. I really fear we are reaching the end of our wonderful club and it’s only a matter of time before Fester sells the stadium and turns our life support off. The fat lady is getting ready to sing. I’m absolutely destroyed.
What I dont understand is if these Americans are worth billions, handing over £4 or £5 million is like the majority of us handing over £50. It is peanuts to them. This isnt just a football club. It isnt just a business. It is part of the community & has been for a very long time. Whether you are light side or dark side, it is OUR community. It is this that I feel is the more soul destroying. Not being part of that community anymore.

I’m not too sure. But he’s taking legal action against this person for his/her comments. Yet, did he take the same action over Nixon for his comments the other week?
