A very good win & carried on from where we left off.
Anyway to get back on track, I’m going for a 0 – 1 to us. Moore.
I’m not too sure TBH! However we are very lucky at the DW that we can easily social distance.
On a more serious note, perhaps they should have no away fans travelling to the grounds & open up the away end to home fans to spread out even more. I suppose the bigger clubs may have to reduce their capacity for a while & do a lottery system who attends one game one week, then another few thousand attend the next game & so on. It will affect revenue, but not sure what else is a viable option. Unless all spectators attend games in PPE.
I opted for the option of taking the £90 off next season’s ticket instead of watching the games. Whenever we will be allowed back in.
Took me a while to work it out. I guess we will just give it time. One thing I have noticed is that the font appears to be a lot smaller than before.
I’ve opted for the discount on next seasons season ticket.
Best – Not having to go to the DW to watch the latics & suffer the anguish, nervousness, stress, frustration involved within 90 minutes of watching a bloody game of football.
Worst – Not having to go to the DW to watch the latics & suffer the anguish, nervousness, stress, frustration involved within 90 minutes of watching a bloody game of football.
I’ve a horrible feeling our momentum has gone and we go downNot like you to be negative Egg!!
Only thing I would hope for would be if the remaining games are played, ST holders can be given free access to the home games on Latics TV.Good shout Leyland!!
Since they have a similar thread “over there” we should too!Very hard to pick my best 5; it would have been easier to pick 10!
Here goes –
5) v Blackburn Dec 2007 (5-3)
We’ve had some tear ups against Blackburn over the year and this was a humdinger. 3-0 up then back to 3-3 and finally 5-3 and they missed a penalty. Still the only Premier League game with a hat trick for both teams (Marcus Bent and Santa Cruz)4) v Arsenal Apr 2010 (3-2)
2-0 down with 11 min to go when Ben Watson pulls one back (didn’t he score another important goal sometime? My memory’s not what it was  ), then big Titus heads over (just) after their keeper makes a howler. Rounded off in the last minute of added time by Charlie N’Zogbia with that cracker in off the post. Wenger doing a windmill impression; priceless3) v West Ham Apr 2011 (3-2)
2-0 down at the interval and going down if we lost…back to 2-2 then Charley (who else that season?) steps up in the last seconds to win it and send them down B)2) v Reading May 2005 (3-1)
The day we reached the footballing summit, proving all the critics wrong (again)1) v Man City May 2013 (1-0)
Couldn’t have picked any other game. The never to be forgotten day we shook the footballing world :woohoo:I agree with your selection. But for me personally, I would swap your 5th choice with the Freight rover trophy final of 1985. The first (& what i assumed would be my only time) watching latics in a cup final.
Happy May 11th!!

ValenciaI dont work for the NHS, but I am a care worker. Everyday I go to work, I wonder if it could be my last. The current situation shows what is absolutely wrong with football full stop. People dying everyday as well as those risking their lives. Is football so exempt from the real world?
That infamous quote about football being more impotent than life & death – is it fook!
Scrap the entire season now & put peoples lives first.
The simple solution would be to end it – null & void!! But think about the poor liverpool fans who’ve waited 30 years for a title.
Rooney’s salary is absolute scandalous. A guy at his age in the championship is just totally wrong. Even some premier league players dont earn that. At his age he should just be content with playing football.
