We all thrilled with the result Saturday but playing that set up at home will have blood boiling .Let’s be honest ….how lucky were we at Leeds? On another day we could have been on the end of a cricket score. Surely
In fairness, how many times this season have we been the better side only to come off the worst. I’ll gladly take that scruffy & ugly win in all honesty. In fact, I’ll take many more of them between now & the end of the season.

If we show the same level of fight, spirit & determination as we have done these past 2 games, we should stay up.

All I want from my team is for them to show the same level of fight they showed Tuesday night between now & the rest of the season. Do that, & who knows?
I’m seeing the points of both Donny & Brownbill here with this one. When I saw Garner coming on the other night, my initial thought was Moore off. But give credit to Cook, he went against his “stubbornness” & played them both together. And how effective did they look? As Brownbill states, it was Garner who provided the assist to enable us to go on & win the game. With an extra striker signed to provide cover, I too feel we could give this a go & play the 2 of them together.
I know earlier I said play Pilks in the CAM position. But scrap that & let’s go for it. Oh! & add in the same fight that the lads showed in the 2nd half the other night, & who knows!!
Cook must have wanted to offload him in this window, hence the reason why he brought in Dowell. However, that has gone **** up with his injury. I’d like to see Pilks in that position myself. He hasn’t the speed to run up & down wings. But he has decent enough quality & touches to play there. Plus, he will shoot. Cook though will probably play Williams there, who IMO is more of a defensive midfielder.
Heard last night that Wednesday very keen on Windass so thought that a deal to broker Rhodes to us might come off. Apparently that is now a possibility. Question is why Cook put so much faith in Windass over the Christmas period even playing no recognised striker and now happy to offload . Clash of personality maybe??Possibly! Rumours going around that windass is a bit of a bad apple.
