All this talk about bringing in the kids.
Didn’t someone once say You don’t win anything with kids?”
This window is a kick in the teeth. But I will always be there.
As per usual egg, you reply to a post in a very reasonable manner. However, despite myself usually being generally a positive poster, my doubts re: IEC has now doubled.
Totally gutted! I don’t even know what to type I’m that gutted.
But, unlike some,I will still be in attendance (work permitting in my case as always). VAT & grumpy, please continue to attend games. The club needs its supporters. If people stop coming, there might/will no longer be a football club to support.
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!
When is the fans forum please?
I am usually positive, but I did have doubts about these guys taking over.
I don’t know about Joe royle. But in the words of Jim royle “premier league in 2 years my ar$e”
I heard we will only accept an offer of 3 million for grigg, having turned down the 5th offer. Even if that is the case, I hope there is someone lined up.
If Grigg stays, I’ll be happy. If he is sold, I wont be.
Its that simple.
None of us will be.
Jees tonight! I have seen some tosh on here over the years, but some people really are throwing their toys out of the pram.
“If we sell Grigg, I’m no longer coming.”
“I’m not going on Saturday. I’m voting with my feet.”
I am as frustrated as most at the moment with our ghost board, cooks tactics, the grigg will he/won’t he saga. Get behind your club FFS!
Should he sacked instead of the manager ?The letter from the IEC board stated Joe Royle’s appointment would “mitigate the relegation risk” and “enhance its chances to be promoted”.
Where did you find this crammy?
Apologies if this has already been posted. But we have turned down 4 sunderland bids for grigg. Perhaps cook really does want him to stay.
A great chance to get that much needed confidence building away win. Forst have won one game since the 1st of Dec so come on lads lets go at them.
Not much choice up front with either Garner or Vaughan but both of these two are capable of goals if given the support and service so could we get away with Roberts in Powels position, Pilkington on the left and Jacobs on the right. Just play the way we did last season by attacking away and we should do ok.
Morsy and Evans in defensive midfield and the defence picks itself because we have no more defensive players available. Stick with Jones.
3-0 Latics.
Who would ever have thought Naismith and Roberts would have become regulars in our Championship starting eleven.1) I fancy a win today.
2) TBF donny, you mention vaughan & garner capable of goals given the right service. Grigg is VERY capable of goals – given the RIGHT service.
3) Its fine to play the attacking way away from home, & by all means do so. But this league is tougher TBF than league 1.
4) 3 – 0 latics is a tad optimistic given our away record this season.
5) Stuff it! Lets do this. UTT!!
Cupwinners talking bollocks again :lol:Now now!
I was always under the impression he handed it in after the semi’s at ArsenalWasnt it at the last match of the season vs arsenal? The last ever match at highbury.
In all seriousness though, the matches are only a fraction of their job.
When we finish work we can go home and switch off.
They rarely switch off, and the stress of knowing that a few thousand people are ready to shout abuse at you, call you names and contact your employer asking for you to be sacked the second you make decision they don’t agree with….
Nah. Despite the pay, it wouldn’t be for me.
I’m fairly thick skinned Johnny, I’d do it for the money but I’d be shit at it as many of you know! :cheer:[/quote]
You should do it fil. I heard that nowadays managing a team on career mode on FIFA, counts as a qualification.
Given some of the shite in the first team why don’t we give some of these lads a go? They haven’t lost in a year!We will next season in league 1 ;) after we have had to sell off some of our bigger hitters.
