Larry Lloyd should never have released Micky Quinn.
Judging by this performance, a night out with Brian Clough would have been more exciting than one with John Motson.
I actually have a (short) night out with John Motson one day last season. I can confirm it would probably have been more exciting with Clough.
It was two seasons ago actually…
That’s how good a night it was… :(
Were you there to ensure he didn’t fall off the fence during any football related discussions.
Agbonlahor and Holt would certainly bring different qualities to the team.I don’t think he’s cut out for the rough and tumble of The Championship!
How good would it have been if our players had taken the same stance with OC. :ohmy:What makes you think they didn’t?
Can’t be bothered checking up myself, but someone will…Grant Holt born 1981
3–3 would you believe it.
No
Sounds like our front 2 (Holt, Fortune) could well learn a thing or two from a certain Mr Reeves.
Still, me thinks MK Dons have had their day; I’ll go 1-0 Wigan in the replay (memories of Bournemouth last year).
Any news on the transfer front (striker in ?)
Maybe we can get Boselli on loan in time for the replay?
Just been told he has said his goodbye’s to his Latics team mates and cleared his locker out at CP. :(
Who has?
I’ve no idea pal, perhaps griff will tell you…. B)
Don’t think Griff knows either although it seems he’s not the only one taking the piss. ;)

The £150m will be owed to the bank and the club will be paying the interest on that. As soon as the bank are no longer prepared to let that debt increase – on the basis that the loan will never be repaid – they have a big problem.
The owner, not the bank is owed £151.3m out of the total debt of £163.8m.
If their owner owes a bank the money, or BWFC fail to pay any debt repayments that may be in place to the owner then there would be a problem.
As long as the owner is happy with the debt, and the bank, if indeed he owes the bank money or any other creditors are getting regular repayments then their only other worry is the balance of £12.5m, which in football terms is nothing out of the ordinary.
Obviously if the owner or his creditors if there are any, decide enough is enough and decide they want their £151m then problems will arise, but I don’t think this is likely in this case.
If the man is worth an estimated £40m how can BWFC owe him, personally, £150m? He must have borrowed it from the bank so they will call the shots.

This admiration for Espinoza seems to stem from his cup final appearance. This is the reason given by many when I ask why they think he deserves to be an automatic starter. It was also uttered by the numpty behind me in the west stand when Roger came on against Burnley and I consider his judgement to be on a par with next door’s cat, which I admit might be clouding my judgement slightly.
Yes, Espinoza did play very well at Wembley but so did the entire team which is why we won the cup. Unfortunately, up to date, that performance has yet to be repeated.
If you owe the bank £150, then you have a problem. If you owe the bank £150 million, then the bank has a problem.
Wanderers owe Gartside £150 million. Surely he’s prepared not to see it again. I hope he’s had his money’s worth.
It’s not Gartside, it’s that yank fella. I don’t think Gartside doesn’t have £150m to lend to anyone, I bet he wishes he did!
Eddie Davies owns BWFC. He’s reported as being worth £40m – Whelan £190m – so I think he’s in no position to write off £150m. Should he decide to call in the debt BWFC will have the problem.
It can’t be denied that at least one player turned up in fancy dress.
Wishing you all a jolly, mirthful Christmas. :cheer:
Some of the colour change and crest change was to make the club a more recognisable brand which is what the Hull City chairman is trying to do. Who wouldn’t know who Cardiff City FC are I’m not sure.We effectively did it when we changed back to the tree and crown as opposed to the council crest.
I think it’s more obvious than just a crest change.
