He was the wrong choice at the wrong time for us, but under normal circumstances would have probably proved to be a decent manager.

No Claude, they have their last match today. Castleford who had mullered the league this season were at home to Hull and Hull had to win there. If they hadn’t the lodgers would have gone over them with a win today on points difference.
Hull pulled off one of those miracle wins that the scruffs pull off usually leaving the Worriers having no other way of qualifying for the last four than winning today by a points difference of 91 to qualify ahead of Super Saints.
