None of us have any idea what is going on behind the scenes and TBH that is how it should be. I think we have been spoiled a little really with the way Uncle Dave used to talk to the press.
Don’t think the goals at Blackburn were his fault TBH
Aren’t all seasons based on that? We have the points, its up to them to catch us.
If we defend like we did against Bristol City for the few remaining games left believe you me, 2 points won’t take much catching just like the 2 clubs did on Saturday.
They way you say it you sound like we’re 6 in front with 3 to go !!
2points bud 2 points
They still need to catch us whether it’s 1 point, 2 points, goal difference or 10 points.
If we stay up it is because we got more points than 3 other teams so were therefore better than they were over the season, not because they’re crap like you, brownbill and others suggest.
Handed himself in in Blackpool. Been on the p*** all day perhaps and done it whilst drunk?*
*This is not me condoning it
Dunkley more than Kipre in my opinion.
Fox and Kipre would be my choice of centre back partnership especially seeing as Olsson doesn’t seem up to it.
Well it isn’t a Cook thing as we have done it for years for some reason
I think (though might be wrong), it started with Jewell in either our first or second season in the premier league. And we have been doing it ever since regardless who our manager is.
The thing is, if you leave 1 man up top, they need 2 defenders. Leave 2 up top, they require 3 defenders. Therefore leaving less opposition players in your box. How many times has our GK (whoever it might be) caught the ball, or it has been cleared by the defence only for no one to give it to & hence, a chance for a break a la Salah.
I agree. I put it down to the backroom staff being the same foe years but we still do it now. It has always seemed a negative idea to me.

So if that were to happen, what would be the first fixture you look for? Brentford? QPR? Oxford?
As I said, it’s funny to laugh at the time but in the real world I want to see us play them. I have a few mates who are Bolton fans and I love the banter in the week leading up to the game. It’s what sport is all about.
You need rivals in sport so personally I hope they stay in our division and I hope they stay in business one way or another. It’s great to laugh at the time, but when the fixtures come out next season and there is no “Bolton Wanderers A” to look for then it won’t be the same. They will be rightly docked points next season so it could be another 3 seasons before we next play them.
Should be able to do so next season GL. We just need to tell the EFL that that’s what we’re doing.
Turning into an utter farce.
Well the East and West could be cheaper and the like for like seats in the South Stand £39-00.Not a bad idea. Move the family stand to the end of one of them and then charge in the south what we charge the away fans.
Now I know Latics are obviously the most attractive team in Europe, but £39 for away fans! Are they worried about our travelling hoards?
Home tickets are already sold out, but they were available at a bargain £29.
Latics must be getting the best seats! The same seats in the Leeds end are 39 quid as well.
That’s the problem in this division with some of the big clubs. They can sell tickets at whatever price they like in the home ends so sadly us away fans get stung as well.
If we were to charge Leeds 39 quid then we would have to charge home fans 39 quid and we would be lucky to sell 10.
I really don’t see your issue with them wanting to use the stadium to make money. The club has no income streams from anywhere else does it?
